Good day, dear listeners. We are a team, Yuhua Primary 5 Luminaries.
My name is Lasha and I'm the first speaker
from my team with Zoe and Yati.
We are from Yuhua Primary School
and we are here today to speak on the topic,
A World Fully Integrated with AI. What is left?
Lasha, what would a world fully integrated with AI look like to you?
Oh, that reminds me of when our English teacher asked us to use
an AI chatbot to help us build our compositions. Remember?
What if AI does almost everything?
It prepares your breakfast, drives your car,
marks your homework, and answers every single question you have.
Sounds incredible, doesn't it?
When we had a research assignment,
I noticed that AI was already included in the Google search engine.
In the future, AI may become part of almost every aspect of our life,
if it hasn't already.
But Lasha, this raises the important question.
If AI can do everything for us, what will be left for humans?
I know! Let me share my thought, Yati.
The answer lies in something machines can
never truly possess, the human heart.
AI can recognize emotions, but it cannot genuinely feel them.
Once, my best friend was feeling down because of her test results.
An AI chatbot may know what to say,
but a real friend like me offers something much more powerful.
Nothing beats a listening ear or a warm consoling hug.
I believe that jobs that explore human relationships,
like in healthcare and counseling, will flourish.
AI can say the right things.
But it's never the same as genuine care.
Our kindness, compassion, and ability to connect with others
are gifts that no machine can truly replace.
Perhaps the answer is not whether AI or humans win over each other.
Maybe humans can progress and develop further with AI hand in hand.
Exactly.
Therefore, the future should not be a battle between humans and AI.
Instead, it should be partnership.
Let AI help us solve problems.
We can offer the human touch from truly knowing
and caring about the people around us.
I think about the time my friend forgot her pocket money for recess.
And without even thinking, I shared my food with her.
No one asked me to, I just did it.
Simply because that is what friends do.
That moment of just knowing, just caring,
that is something no algorithm could ever calculate.
So in a world fully integrated with AI, what is left?
What is left? Everything that truly matters.
Our compassion, our relationship, and most importantly, our humanity.
Dear listeners, we would like to thank you
for this opportunity to share our thoughts today.
We believe that while AI may transform our world,
it is our humanity that will continue to define it.
This has been Lasha and Yati from Yuhua Primary School P5 Luminaries.
Thank you!
