Alex Volkanovski Planning 'Cooking With Volk' Collab W/ Islam Makhachev

A street fighter, how cool is that? Does that come out today, too? Yeah, it'll come out today, yeah. That's amazing. Everywhere, I think. Yeah, the 16th, yeah. I had the premiere just before I left, which was cool. We had a really good turnout, but a lot of buzz. It was fun, mate. I don't mind it, but I'm still fighting, so I can't be doing too many of those gigs. But I can play a small role here and there until the fighting's done. In the future, maybe more of a full-time thing? Yeah, that's it, mate, 100%. I'm going to play major roles. That's why I'm playing major roles, you know what I mean? Lead actors in films, maybe, you know what I mean? I really do enjoy it, mate. I enjoy being in front of the camera. And I can definitely see a bit of a future there. But right now, I'm focused on fighting and the cooking. So that stuff, them two keep me busy enough. I'll dabble in the acting here and there until I'm ready to go a little more full-time on that. All right, last one. Is there a dream collab on the cooking channel? It could be a YouTuber, it could be a chef, or anybody, a celebrity. Is there somebody you'd love to have on your show, on your channel? I mean, there's so many. There is so many. But I love the idea of Islam Makhachev, like doing it with him. So we've already even chatted about it. So I'm going to go to Dagestan in the mountains, horseback hunting, hunting on horseback, catching whatever we catch, and then cooking it, like literally over a wood fire. Camping, yes. So this is something that we've already planned, we've already chatted about. And like I'm telling you, it's going to happen. We're going to do it. And then all my past opponents, that's probably going to – I'm going to make that a thing. Ilya Teporia I've already planned I was actually going to go to Spain not too long ago maybe it was a year or two back we're going to I was getting I think it was a year ago I was going to go over there we're going to catch up and then I was going to do some cooking with Volk and that with him so I think that that might be a series it might be a series there a series of me just doing cooking with Volk with past opponents and you know chatting and then obviously because I mean it's awesome I think that's cool man like you know you share history when you fight with opponents, right? Like there's something that it's just different. It is a special moment, even though you're trying to punch each other's faces and trying to hurt each other. I mean, it's something that it's a connection that not many people get to have. It's weird. But I mean, like, especially when you're like, you know, I get along with pretty much everyone. So it's easy for me to have a, you know, to be able to share a moment after we fight, if we were to do a cooking with Bob, that would be very special to me because I guess I'm that type of guy. That's awesome and the fact that fighting is a primal thing Alex and then you're going to go and actually hunt the animals yourself and cook it on the open fire, I thought you were going to say like Gordon Ramsay or something, that is an awesome answer man, awesome answer Yeah, 100%, that's what I mean, they're all cool too but I mean I think I don't think I'm the only one that would be excited for the horseback hunting with Islam in the mountains of Dagestan, I think everyone would be excited for that. I'm not sure everyone would love Gordon Ramsay as well, but I think just the mountains of Islam, Dagestan, I think it's going to hit a lot different. So that's something that needs to happen.
