Falcons DC Jeff Ulbrich on Slowing Down Bears QB Caleb Williams

I mean, which is which is the bigger head? It's all of it, in all honesty. Like he's a he's a rare one that when you flush him, he's just as dangerous as the guy that's in the pocket, if not more at times. And a lot of his magic has lived outside the pocket when he gets flushed. The other part of him that's really unique is he's not necessarily a big escape artist. He's not a wheel out to his arm. He's not a give ground. He's he's everything like you give him a big escape to either side armor or otherwise he's out inside you give him an opportunity to give ground a wheel out to his arm or otherwise he's going to take that as well so um it's it's about rushing with precision it's about rushing with extension and length and vision on this quarterback and it's and it's also like i've told these guys from from yesterday and we'll keep preaching it that that internal timer that rushers have in regard to one one thousand two one thousand balls gonna be out like ignore that internal timer because he's going to hold the ball as long as he has to hold the ball you know and the other side of that is the teams that are super over the top discipline about the way they rush them and it becomes pure cage and everybody's just sitting there he feels that too and that's that's just as scary because he's not a he doesn't have panic to him he doesn't and I don't know if he has that internal timer sometimes it's like I'm not throwing this ball until somebody gets open and so there's there's explosives both ways you know and and yeah I this is my first time going against him and you know you as a you know you see the highlights and you see the special plays I know we all we all do that but now that I've got an opportunity to really study him he is he's not just the face of the of the franchise he's like one of those NFL faces of the league and the talent is exceptional and it's going to be a great challenge. It's and I think, I would imagine we're going to get his best, which I know everybody on our defense wants, you know, because, you know, when you when you want to play really good defense and you want to be regarded as one of the better defenses in this league, these are the games that you relish, you know, like to beat the best and to play well against the best is part of that, you know, so we're going to be up for this challenge. We are.
