John came to Hollywood looking for the opportunity of a lifetime. Years later, he’s still waiting for his big break.

Struggling with dead-end jobs, mounting bills, and the realities of life in Los Angeles, John finds himself trapped in a downward spiral while trying to hold on to the dream that brought him there in the first place.

Featuring an outstanding ensemble cast including Rory Cochrane, Sean Astin, Kyra Sedgwick, Ron Livingston, J.T. Walsh, and Mark Blum, THE LOW LIFE is a heartfelt and often humorous look at ambition, friendship, disappointment, and the price of chasing success.
