Paper Plane - Connie Talbot - Original Song (Acoustic Version)

Hi everyone! How are you? Let me know in the comments🥹🥹 I've been missing doing my usual chats and uploads but I promise it won't be long until I'm back to full Connie mode in the studio 🤍
I wanted to share with you the acoustic version of Paper Plane that some of you may have seen in my virtual concert. Paper Plane means so much to me and is one of my favourite original songs yet 🫶Thank you so much for all the love you've shown for this song. Hope you like this version and thank you as always, sending love... Connie 🤍

Lyrics:
Why don't you pick up the phone
You must feel alone
Just saw you walk up my street
What do you want me to do
No messages getting through
It's not as if I'm a freak

I'll put some words on a page
Make a Paper Plane
Throw it over the wall
With a burning aim
Even through the silence
I hear what you're saying

It's over
But I still can't give you up
You won't speak to me
But I still can't give you up
Don't you miss the one who really knows you
I'm the one you used to trust
You won't look at me
But I still can't give you up
And you know what you're losing
It's me, it's me
It always has been
And always will be

This ain't' nothing unique
It happens on every street
Let's not be their entertainment
Then again
I wish you'd scream in my face
Take me to town and then waste
Them drops of blood on the pavement

I'll put some rage on a page
Make a Paper Plane
Throw it over the wall
With a burning aim
Even through the silence
I hear what you're saying

It's over
But I still can't give you up
You won't speak to me
But I still can't give you up
Don't you miss the one who really knows you
I'm the one you used to trust
You won't look at me
But I still can't give you up
And you know what you're losing
It's me, it's me
It always has been
And always will be

Ooh, it always will be
Always, always, always, always will be
