Thomas Brandon High School and that's out here with Coach Knott.
Seemed like tonight, I guess,
is sort of what people are usually used to seeing.
It's certainly close to what I expect.
It's not exactly what I expect, but it's a nice score, 42 to nothing.
But the penalties were ridiculous.
But we played pretty good defensively, played pretty good offensively.
Without the penalties, I think it's a whole lot worse.
So we gotta learn to control the penalties when we get to play.
when we start moving forward in the playoffs.
Well, this is the second game where
Jake could have easily stayed in and
got a few more yards to get 400 yards, but I guess.
Yeah, he could have.
He was on tonight except the last part of the second quarter.
I was pleased with him.
He made some good checks and he did some things really well.
But he had a lot of protection.
When you got that kind of protection, he's pretty doggone good.
So we'll make sure that he's protected like that all the time.
Last week we didn't have number three,
Malik Miller, he's a special player.
And I'm figuring out more and more how to use him.
And he makes us a much better team than we were last week at Chapin.
Well, one guy sort of unsung tonight, but he had three touchdowns,
Michael Robinson, just a guy I guess you can rely
on when you need to get short.
Michael Robinson's a bull, and I mean, he can go.
We got three running backs that can go.
And a lot of times people say,
if you got three running backs, you ain't got one.
That's not true.
We have three legit running backs, and I'm proud of all three of them.
They get a little pouty sometimes when they're not in the game, but
that's just the competitor in them.
So I enjoy being around them.
They do, for the most part,
they do the things right to make us a better team.
Talking about Brody playing, basically,
he's sort of becoming like an Iron Man.
Just how much has he been helpful defensively?
Yeah, Brody's big and strong, and he's aggressive, and he's mean.
So we don't have too many players like him,
so we're putting him at nose.
I use him a lot like I used Malik Sumter, who's, you know, years ago,
who played for me and went to Georgia State
and did some good things down there.
So I would put Malik in when I felt like that we needed him.
I put Brody in when I felt like that we need him for a big stop.
And then also, 15th region.
