Inside a Hidden Mid-Century Home at the Tip of a Lakefront Peninsula

At the tip of a quiet peninsula on Lake Oswego, Diamond Point sits above the water, surrounded by trees and expansive views. From the road, this Pacific Northwest mid-century home reveals little of what lies beyond its entrance.
Originally designed by Kenneth G. Walter and later renovated by Emerick Architects, the residence brings together walls of glass, warm wood ceilings, and basalt stone drawn from its setting. Inside, a sunken conversation area and a series of gathering spaces look out toward the lake, while a private dock and boathouse connect the home to the water below.
