They emphasize their commitment to supporting President Trump's agenda and dismiss media scrutiny as a distraction from the President's achievements, while expressing gratitude for the trust placed in them to handle significant news.
I was watching your interview last night on Sean's show
and God bless you because
other than the president, I think it would be the hardest job
because you have to know all the
facts. You have to speak off the cuff
and you were just thrown into this role. So is there anything
that you would say differently
or clarify differently on Sean's interview last night
or the White House press briefing,
your first briefing, anything you'd do differently?
You know, I'm just so grateful to be here
and I'm really looking forward to be an asset to
President Trump and focusing on what he's doing
for the American people. And the legacy media
wants to put the focus and attention on me
because they want to be distracted. They wanted to be
distracted from the major wins that President Trump
is making for America. So I'm looking
forward to the next week. It is a blitz week.
He is traveling almost every single day for huge
packed rallies. And that is what I'm looking forward to.
Yeah, you know, I remember the
president did not like the way one
of his press secretary you know like any of them with the way
they were treated but one he just decided i don't
want any more briefings and you know being that
there was the abrasive uh way a lot of a lot
of the questions were on your first briefing did the
president give you any advice with all those miles
that you were in the air with him did he give you
some feedback well i wouldn't disclose private conversations
but what i will say is that i had
the opportunity to to do what i don't think many press secretaries
in the past have done which is
to break news on staff.
And I really am grateful to President Trump for trusting me to break
that news. And I do believe that really shifted the press conference
and also gave me a platform
to be able to deal with hard news for him in the future, Brian. Got it.
