What's Going On at the Restoration Studio? | Broken Paintings & More

What's going on behind the scenes at an art restoration studio? In this episode, I'll take you inside the conservation and restoration department to explore some of the fascinating projects currently underway. We begin with a damaged wooden panel painting that has split into several sections, following the delicate process of stabilising its cracks and preparing the individual boards to be joined together again. Along the way, we'll also take a closer look at several other paintings undergoing conservation and restoration.
