Join me for bird photography at The Mill Lakes Park in Petrie, Queensland.

Across several early morning visits, I found an amazing variety of Australian birds around the lakes, along the walking paths and beside the North Pine River. From waterbirds and fairy-wrens to raptors, bee-eaters and an unexpected Azure Kingfisher, there always seemed to be something else to find.

These were the kind of mornings where time seemed to disappear - watching, listening and enjoying whatever appeared next.
