Delhi Police have reportedly arrived at the residence of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke to serve a notice ahead of the proposed “Lehra Do Tiranga” march at Connaught Place.

According to the notice described in reports, prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) are in force in Connaught Place. The notice also states that permission from the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has not been granted for the proposed Tiranga Yatra. It warns that proceeding towards Connaught Place could constitute a violation of the restrictions and invite appropriate legal action.

The march was called by CJP amid protests over the detention of party leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. Dipke has maintained that waving the national flag is not a crime and has urged supporters to participate in the planned gathering.
