Costco Is CHANGING Kirkland - THESE Prices Just COLLAPSED (October 2026)
Oct 15, 2026
Big changes to Kirkland this month,
and I'm going to show you everything from
Costco dishwasher pods to trash bags that have new marketing.
Some prices are going way down,
but then we found the Kirkland household staple
that's shooting up 60 percent. Plus,
Costco now says we're going to give you some tariff refunds.
I found four Kirkland products
that are going down because of it. You've got to see this.
Let's go. Did you notice it? Kirkland
just made a tiny little change in its dishwasher pods,
and this is important. So this is the
Kirkland UltraShine Platinum Performance.
So the old ones of these had 115 pods. Kirkland just came
back on the market, but this one only has 105.
So you got some shrinkflation going on here. And I
want you to look at the per pod price, right?
So forget about this because we can't look at this
anymore because they lower the amount of pods.
We got to look right here. It's 12 cents per pod,
$0.12 per wash. It was lemon citrus.
Now they're going fresh scent. And the other thing they're
doing is they're mentioning platinum in there, right?
Platinum performance. So here's who they're
going after. Walk right down here.
They're going straight after Cascade Platinum Plus. Costco and
Kirkland going right at them.
And look, you still save so much money with Kirkland. It's almost
$0.31 a wash for Cascade Platinum.
You're at like $0.12 a wash here. So you're getting less,
but it's still a deal. It's a buy.
Kirkland is changing its heavy-duty compactor and kitchen
bags. I use these at my house, so I wanted the warning,
so I wanted to give it to you, too.
They're just changing the box.
I mean, these are amazing bags, by the way. They hold up against
all the crap in my house,
and I'll get to the price in just a second, too. They're getting
rid of the old stock, so this is the way it used to look,
and you can see it's going. This is what
you need to look for in the store.
I found a picture online at your warehouse. Drop a comment.
let me know. This is the new packaging.
Are you seeing this yet? It's the same as this. So when
you see this or this, it's the same
and they haven't changed the product. Oh, I want to show
you something. Come on in. 24 cents a bag right here at Kirkland.
I want to show you Amazon Basics,
which this is a better quality.
Amazon Basics, look at their charging. 36 cents a bag versus
24 cents a bag. You're better off here.
It's better quality and the box is changing. This
is the Kirkland change that nobody wanted.
This motor oil that's now skyrocketed 60 percent in
price since last year. And now Costco is putting
a limit on how much of it you can buy. You can
only buy two of these per membership every seven days.
Come on in. This is the price I want you to
look at right there. Five dollars
and 80 cents per quart for fifty seven ninety nine. You get a
two pack with five quarts each.
This was thirty five ninety nine a year ago. But because of the
war in Iran oil prices are up they're charging more
and they're limiting how much you can get
but it's still a buy Kirkland is still a buy
when you compare it to Mobil so the Mobil price is
cheaper but don't look at that you're getting
less they're charging that's the number you want
to look at right there seven dollars
and sixteen cents 7.17 per quart here it's only 5.80 a quart
so you're better off getting the Kirkland than
the Mobil don't be fooled by the price number
but still much more expensive the Kirkland cult classic
is back the peppermint bark for the
holidays they just brought this back
and it's four dollars cheaper than last year what's getting
cheaper this is and by the way we just spotted
the guy in back it just came in they're making it as
we speak they can't keep up with demand
because everyone's buying it because the price is so crazy
the reviews are really good
and i want to show you here they're going for 59 cents per ounce 59
cents per ounce, so $12.99 for this big package right here.
Let me show you with Williams Sonoma
that they're charging. So you get the 10,
which is nice, but the cheapest one is $34.95. It all
goes up to $139. Again, you don't get the 10 here at Kirkland,
but $0.59 an ounce here, over $2 an
ounce there, 70% cheaper here, and it's back for a reason.
Everyone loves it. Insane price difference
on these Kirkland Dry Facial Towels,
and it's a double whammy
because not only are they crushing Amazon,
which I'll show you,
but remember I told you Costco
was dropping prices on certain items
because they got the tariff refunds
instead of just giving you cash,
which I would take.
They are taking down the prices of certain items.
This is one of them.
These are the Kirkland Dry Facial Towels.
Just came down by a dollar.
So these are dry, so you have to wet them.
Let me show you what they do.
You can, you know, take off your makeup.
Good for cleansing.
You can wipe your countertops.
you can clean your beauty tools too. And here is the price.
Come on in. Again, they just dropped
it by a dollar. So it's even crazier.
10 cents per towel here at Kirkland. Here's who they're
duping, right? The Clean Skin Club on Amazon.
And look at the price per towel there. 36 cents
per towel versus 10 cents per towel here at Kirkland.
72% cheaper here. Oh, this is getting
brutal. We have a battle of the coarse black pepper.
This is the Kirkland version right here.
put this on steaks and burgers and everything
and the price just came down because that tariff
refund so i'll bring this down for you laura
this was 6.99 at kirkland they just overnight
brought it down to 5.99 trying to give you some money back
for the tariff refunds but it's not
enough to beat sam's club sam's club
is beating costco here it's 47 you know let me bring it down
here 47 cents an ounce you know that's how we shop at ross
and reports per ounce 47 cents an ounce
let me pull that up at sam's at sam's it's only oh let me zoom
in 44 cents an ounce you're saving
money even though the cost
is more you're getting more 44 cents an ounce at sam's you
oh thank you we have an audience thank you oh thank you you're
the best thank you guys
get this at Sam's, I can't believe they just got
this in while we've been filming, these are the
viral organic Madagascar vanilla beans
from Kirkland, yes they are from Madagascar, this is
how you can make your own vanilla extract if you want
to do that, so come on in, they tell you how
to do it, you split the bean open, you scrape the seeds out
and for every one vanilla bean you get
what is that, three teaspoons of extract
which is really really cool, now I want to show you the
price on this, crushing Amazon right now, come
on in, oh here it is down here, let me get it for you
look, nine dollars and 79 cents
but again, we're Ross and Reports viewers, so we look at the price
for each, it's 49 cents per vanilla bean, let me put
this away, look what I found on Amazon again
organic from Madagascar, look at look
at they're charging there, let me zoom in, a dollar 30 per
vanilla bean, here it's only 49 cents, three times
the price on Amazon, if your location
has these, get them, make your own extract, oh
and by the way, you don't want to, they sell the
Kirkland extract right next to it.
the famous $4.99 Kirkland rotisserie chicken, they never
raised the price, how do they keep it so cheap?

One of the top questions you ask me,
how does Costco keep the Kirkland rotisserie chicken
so cheap? It's only $4.99. They never change the price.
We got the answer for you. So Costco did
something insane. They bought their own chicken company.
Local farmers raise the chickens,
but Costco handles the rest from the egg on up.
So Costco controls its own supply chain.
They can keep the prices where they want.
By the way, the rotisserie chicken is also what they
call a loss leader for Costco.
They're actually probably losing money on this, but look where they
put it. In the back of the store.
That's the front of the store all the way over there. So to get to
the chicken, you need to come through.
They're expecting you to buy a lot of things they will
make money on. It'll make you become a member,
which they make money on, and they have their
own chicken company so they can keep this at $4.99.
It's a great deal and it tastes amazing.
Double price cut just now on the Kirkland Milk Chocolate Almonds.
This is a really cool story.
These were $19.99. Earlier in 2024, Kirkland cut these down to $18.99.
They just cut them again
overnight down to $17.99 and no shrinkflation here.
Don't worry, I checked. They're still giving you
the same amount, the 48 ounces.
So I was like, are they giving me less? Nope, same amount.
The other change they made is they were selling
these chocolate covered almonds in a tub, like in
a plastic tub that's how you've probably seen them they've switched
to these plastic bags and
costco says they're saving 85% on plastics plus they're able
to bring the price down because the
shipping costs are lower
because they can fit more of these into the truck and personally from
experience in my pantry when we buy a lot
of those like Utz pretzels that come in the little canister
you know laura and it takes up so much room stuff in bags
so much easier to store i love these on
price drop i love double whammy on the kirkland walnuts we have
a tariff refund price cut these
were 13.79 they just brought these walnuts
and it's a three pound bag down to just nine dollars
and 99 cents so instant savings there plus they are crushing Walmart
so that's the Kirkland one
and you can see it's 48 ounces here it
is the Great Value Kirkland walnuts the pieces going
for $18.78, but don't look at that. You're getting less.
Look at that number. 58.7 cents per ounce. Here,
it's only $0.20 an ounce. 65% cheaper here.
But there is one warning. Some Kirkland members say
because walnut oil, this turns into oil,
walnut oil can turn rancid sometimes. So open the bag
when you get home. If it smells, you can bring it back to Costco.
They'll give you a new bag.
The Kirkland dupe everyone is talking about right now.
I just checked the name brand price on Amazon.
It's enough to make you angry.
That's how cheap it is here.
You gotta see this coming up.
This may be my favorite story of the entire video.
We're in the deli section.
This is the Costco beef chili.
Before I show you the price,
there was a Costco fan who went online who said,
in my office, we were doing this big chili cook-off.
Everyone was at home, you know,
making their homemade chili, bragging about it.
he bought this and brought it into the office
and it placed third in the chili cook-off in the
office pretty good uh fans compare it to like Wendy's style
and let me show you the price on
this three where is it 3.99 a pound
for the lord you like chili oh you like chili too have you had
have you had the Costco chili no i've not all right
so it's 3.99 should i put it in your cart
no i i will go home and have like the whole thing i know hi
no no chili no chili people like it
though 3.99 a pound and like i said what it got placed third
at a 3.99 a pound this container is
16.12 too much make your own but if you don't want
to fall cleanup is back the leaves the twigs and
and so is Kirkland's Outdoor Bags.
And by the way, they are crushing Walmart.
Come on in.
Let's get right into the price.
This is from Kirkland's, the Outdoor Trash Bag.
And this is what's important.
You're getting 70 bags,
but I want you to pay attention to that number.
50-gallon bags.
So these are big bags.
The price per bag, when we look at stuff,
is right over here on the Costco price tag.
37 cents a bag.
Now let me show you at Walmart
what they're selling the hefty outdoor bags for,
the name brands.
Look at that.
they're only 39-gallon bags.
So they're 11 gallons smaller than Costco. And look at the price,
42 cents a bag. So the bags are cheaper
per bag here at Costco with Kirkland,
and you're getting a bigger bag.
Boom, it's a buy right here. This may be the biggest price
gap in all of Costco today. It's Kirkland's VitaRain Zero.
This is their dupe of Vitamin
water. And the price gap with Amazon,
it may be something like I've never seen before.
And on top of that, Costco is discontinuing this right now,
so you get an even better deal.
They're getting rid of the summer flavors,
and they're bringing in the winter flavors.
Get to that in a second.
Death Star is up.
$12.99, you get 24 of these 20-ounce bottles,
but that's the one I want you to look at.
54 cents per bottle.
Now let me show you the price on Amazon.
Same size bottle, 20 ounces.
This is Vitamin Water.
On Amazon, that's what Kirkland's knocking off.
Vitamin Water Zero, so apples to apples comparison here.
20 ounce bottle the pack of 12 remember we're getting 24
with Kirkland you get 12 here so we're
going to do the math $25.99
so let me go to the calculator here's how you figure out how much per
bottle $25.99 divided by you get 12 $2.17
per bottle versus 54 cents here and you're getting
twice as many so that price per bottle if we
were to get 24 of them it would cost $51.98
cents. Here you're getting it for $12.99.
Can I say buy alert? Kirkland's price drop alert. These
signature fully cooked crispy wings were going for $16.99.
They just dropped it overnight. Look
at the price now. Down to $14.99.
$2 cheaper per four pound wings bag. By the way, a little
inside information reportedly Foster Farms huge name brand
in the chicken space everyone loves
their wings apparently they make the Kirkland
and guess what the Foster Farms goes for 18.99 so you
save four bucks and people
who like the Kirkland say it tastes the same as Foster Farms just
cheaper it's a buy we just found an item
in this aisle where the quality is exactly the same as the
name brand you actually get more of it from Kirkland
and it's 88% cheaper here at Costco
You got to see this. Instant buy alert.
Stick around. There's a price drop so brand new,
Costco hasn't even changed around the stickers yet.
Come on in. They're saying this burrata
salad is $7.99. It isn't. They've just marked it down.
This is it right here. It's actually $5.99
because you complained and said, this is too much money at $7.99.
They heard you. They just
dropped it and they're in the process of it.
Three big burrata balls inside of this salad.
You get the great mix. You get the olives.
You get the tomatoes, the balsamic as well.
And look at the price now. Where is it right there?
$5.99 a pound. People who eat this say
you can get three lunches out of each container for $5.99.
I like it. $7.99. So if you see this,
say no, no, no, no, no, no. That's not right.
Kirkland just brought these in this month and
they're limited time. Costco won't say how long they're going
to be here. They're the Costco
no rice crackers, two pound bag.
You can see what they look like right over there.
Here are the different flavors.
And by the way, the reviews, somebody just walked by and said
they're dangerously addictive.
I mean, you have the wasabi, you have the, what is that? Sweet
and sour. That's good. The soy stick.
Anyway, it looks good. Guy just grabbed three bags of these
and he said, I may grab more of these.
Costco bought this and you can see they just brought
the inventory in, but they won't tell us how long it's going
to be here, which means it's a test.
the reviews are great it's uh ten dollars
and 79 cents for a two pound bag they're back with a
price cut the Kirkland's oh god i love even just saying it
the caramel apple strudel everyone goes
crazy over these went over crazy last fall they were eight dollars
and 99 cents they just brought
them back for seven dollars and 99 cents
and i checked it's the same amount oh my god warm these
up guys i'm telling you with some ice cream i yeah i
was just gonna say you beat me to it french
vanilla ice cream right on top. Dunzo.
Let me start with the headline because it's shocking.
88% cheaper than Macy's. Now let's talk.
All right. So these are the queen sheet set,
680 thread count, Pima cotton,
and they have it in blue and they also have it in cream.
Costco is discontinuing this right now.
It's got the Death Star on it. And look at the price,
$49.97 and if you watch Rossmann reports you know
when something hits 97 at Costco that's generally
the lowest it's gonna go and here's what's really cool about
this this is a six piece set at Macy's
it's only a four piece set and this is killing it on price
so here it is at Macy's this is the
four piece set pima cotton 680 thread count look
at the price 425 dollars i can come over to blue
they have the blue kind of like this one also 425
so for the Kirkland one it's cheaper it's
88% cheaper same thread count plus you get more pillowcases
with this it is a buy this is brand
new and it's already selling out
so i wanted to alert you to it real quick come on in this is
from Kirkland this is the cherry berry sourdough bread with pecan
so you get the char yeah look at
the label. The dried tart cherries, the dried blueberries,
the cranberries, pecans, and a blend
of seed and grains. $9.99 for this. This, we were here earlier.
It was filled up. People are buying
this, so it's not going to last.
Everyone is talking about the Kirkland Organic Matcha, the
Japanese green tea powder, and the price is sick.
Come on in. For 12 ounces, you get it for $23.99.
We're looking right here, $1.99 per ounce.
Come on over here for the organic matcha on Amazon from that brand.
It's organic.
You're getting it for $3.12 an ounce.
We're less than $2 an ounce.
Now, people online love this, and they did some math on it, too.
They figured for each bag of this from Kirkland, you get 170 lattes.
Enough matcha for 170 lattes?
It's $0.14 per latte.
Not bad.
you can't do much better than that the kirkland wrapping paper
is back and let me just make a
fine point on this if you need
to buy wrapping paper buy it at costco for a few different
reasons one it's cheaper here than everywhere else
from the craft stores down to walmart
14.99 you get three of these big rolls okay
and here's the other thing that's really cool and you
can kind of see it here it's double-sided
so for the three rolls you actually get six designs and
And there are all these different versions of it, too.
We'll pull another one out for you.
And let me make another point.
I use this wrapping paper.
It's very thick.
It's thicker than other wrapping paper,
so you actually can't see the box through it.
Anyway, get the wrapping paper here.
I'm holding it upside down.
Kirkland.
Another price drop.
Kirkland European Cookies.
These are the Belgian chocolate cookies.
You've seen these.
So you get, I mean, we're talking about three pounds of cookies here.
This went for $19.99 last season.
Everyone said bring them back.
Costco did with a price cut down to $16.99.
And it comes sealed. You get two layers of cookies
in here so you can take one out, keep it in the tin,
and then serve the other one later and it's
still fresh. I don't really like these kinds of cookies.
Do you like these, Laura? I like chocolate.
I don't know that I like these. Well, I like chocolate.
But some people do love this. I know.
I just, it's not my kind of cookie.
I love chocolate. But if you like these, price cut.
By the way, if you enjoyed this video,

content like this one. What's brand new at Costco?
We're taking this outside of Kirkland. There are
some amazing deals that just dropped.
They're clearing the shelves and they're bringing in the
new stuff at pretty sick prices.
But there are a few items I found you need to avoid too. Click
on this. I got you.
