Welcome to 2024. I hope everybody's doing well. I'm Motsi Mabuse.
Oh my goodness. It's been a nice quiet year, which is so far.
So the year just started. So it's quiet. So I'm happy about that.
But we have a great classic. Disco is always fun, funky and fresh.
The song is Dancing Queen that First to 11 is going to cover.
And I'm telling you, Dancing Queen was great.
It was played in lots of places.
of movies uh skating rings that i remember you know
of course it was in the movie Mamma Mia but
let's talk about the First to 11 they
were uh look like they started in originally uh in Erie
Pennsylvania are they still there hope
so i hope my information is correct in 2009 but you know
they do covers and they kind of make it fun
and you know they twist the song which is really
amazing so if you don't know
who Abba is Abba is the one that sings um Dancing Queen so they're a
Swedish group and they are amazing um look like
in 1998 uh hit number one on the billboard charts
okay whoo all right so let's see a little history about the song
so the history was um of the song
it was recorded I guess August 4th and 5th um 1975
but it was not released until August 16th
1976 of course um it was released first in sweden
then in the uk and then the rest of europe and
then within days guys within days it went worldwide
so i remember listening this song
uh like when i would go um you know
to the skating rink it's like a perfect funky song and i love it
