Name: Misty

A heartfelt and touching family drama. The events unfold on Assateague Island, where every year the Chincoteague Fire Department organizes a traditional roundup of wild ponies. Young foals and stallions are sold at auction to reduce the number of the herd. In the center of the plot are brother and sister Paul and Maureen Beebe, who dream of one thing: to take possession of a wild three-year-old mare nicknamed Phantom. However, the path to realizing this dream is not easy. First, the children need to earn money on their own to participate in the auction. Second, Phantom has never been caught during a roundup. And even if they are lucky, they will have to beat other buyers at the auction.

But the real test becomes an unexpected discovery: Phantom has a foal named Misty. Now Paul and Maureen face a difficult choice that will change their lives. This is a story about the power of dreams, about friendship between humans and animals, and how true miracles always come when you least expect them. A warm and touching film that reminds us that love and kindness can overcome any obstacle.
