MAGA Man Short-Circuits When Asked to Defend His Beliefs

: I get your thoughts   on gas prices? They suck. They f***ing suck?  Yeah. Why is that? Because they're high as f***.   Why do you think they're high as f***? Because  we had a Democrat in office for a very very long   time. I know it's Joe Biden's fault. Oh wait, why  is that? Because he's an a**. Do think the war in   Iran has anything to do with it? No. No? You don't  think so? You don't think it's like the Strait of   Hormuz or anything? No. Being a veteran myself,  like I served two tours, gas prices have really   nothing to do with Really? You don't think the  fact that like the channel where all of the oil   goes through, like the fact that that's closed,  maybe has something to do with rising gas prices?   Really? So how are the high gas prices Joe Biden's  fault? Like in what way would you like explain it?   I don't... All I know is when he took over gas  prices were really, really low. Donald Trump is   trying to fix all that now and... I don't think  the Democrats are really allowing him to do that.   Okay. So what do you think Trump is doing to fix  the high gas prices? He's a businessman. He runs   the country like a businessman. All right. That  is TikToker and Twitch streamer, Umiverse. And she   is going to show us in part what we are seeing at  an Ohio State football tailgate. Fair of any war.   Excuse me. Can I get your thoughts on gas  prices? Trump is the best president we ever had.   prices where they are, we're all fine. I make a  lot of money. don't care, raise them another $2,   we'll be fine. We're doing this for reason. What  are your thoughts on the war in Iran? Is there   a war right now? Cuz I'm unaware of any war.  Wherever we go, we just kick ass. There's no   war. She's showing us the demo who votes for  stupidity. And let's be real, each answer is-   heavily loaded with Fox News talking points and  a lot of sweet nothings. Can get your thoughts on   gas prices? What about them? Are they too high?  Are they too low? Well, unfortunately right now   they're too high, but you have to look at the  circumstances and there's some things going on.   But things aren't as bad as people say they are.  Why do you think that people say that gas prices   are high? Because they're liberal. So you're not a  liberal? No way. I'm normal conservative. Alright,   did you vote for Trump? Yes. Do you regret  your vote? No. He's the best president we've   had. He means business. He does an excellent job.  And if you want to have a successful country, you   better vote for Trump. We do not want socialism.  All right, thank you. A simple follow up here.   What is socialism? Define it,  cuz I've heard varying forms   from that very state, as a matter of fact. How  do you define socialism personally and why do   you think socialist candidates are popping up  everywhere across the country? Man, I guess   it's honestly it's a hard term to define  these days because. Very often socialism,   classically you would think socialism  is about prioritizing workers.   And yet in reality, I guarantee that most of  the self-described socialists running across   the United States of America are going  to howl about this announcement today,   which is prioritizing American workers over  foreign workers. So I don't know what the   term means anymore. I think in reality, what  it actually means in the American context is   that you want to replace American workers with  foreign workers. you want boys to play in girl   sports. That's what unites the socialists  that I see running across the United States   of America today. It's-. Let's also go back to  this individual that she spoke with. Mr. I serve   two terms, I'm a veteran, and I blame Joe Biden.  Reuters, actual journalists who cover this stuff,   would check him in their own headline. They'd  also report, energy prices have spiked since Iran   cut off access to the straight up Hormuz. waterway  that normally carries one fifth of the world's oil   supplies. Ukraine's attacks on Russia's energy  infrastructure have driven up prices as well,   particularly diesel fuel. And where  exactly is the president turning to now?   That would be the country of Russia. President  Trump announcing Russia will supply the US with   hundreds of thousands of barrels of diesel fuel  aimed at bringing down the prices at the pump.   Garrett Haig joins us tonight from the President's  rally in Syracuse. And Garrett, this comes after   the U.S. had been trying to block global purchases  of Russian oil as a punishment for invading   Ukraine. And tonight that war is still raging on.  This really is a stunning policy reversal for the   Trump administration, which had been trying to  stop Russia's war machine by sanctioning Russian   oil around the globe. Now President Trump says  that after a phone call with Vladimir Putin today,   Russia will send 300,000 tons of diesel fuel to  the American and While oil experts are saying this   deal won't actually bring in enough diesel to do  much for the American affordability crisis, we're   going to talk about that in a moment too, allowing  Russia to export diesel again will provide Putin   with billions more dollars of revenue that he can  use to continue his war with Ukraine, potentially.   And I think there three issues with this diesel  deal. We'll probably learn more about it. Number   one, one of the reasons diesel is so high is  because of the war in Iran and what Iran is doing.   Russia is very much coordinating with Iran  in that conflict. In fact, Russia cannot   sustain its campaign in Ukraine early on. We  dealt with this in the Biden administration.   Iran proliferated its Shahed drone technology to  the Russians, which allowed the Russians to really   massively escalate all these drones that going  to Ukraine. So they're working closely together.   And here you have Iran applying macroeconomic  pressure against the White House. And then Putin,   who's aligned with Iran, calling the White House  and saying, hey, I can help you get out of this   while totally undercutting the Ukrainians. like  it's kind of a step back. It's kind of incredible.   Then there's this guy who also made an appearance.  Mr. I don't give a damn about anybody. I'm rich.   I drive. You don't. Yeah, that dude. What it  comes down to is empathy. for your fellow man.   That is the embodiment of all this and actually  what many Christian nationalists hate. I think   the fundamental moral flaw of the left is empathy  for the criminals and not empathy for the victims.   Empathy for the criminals but not empathy for the  victims. And there's been way too much of that.   That needs to stop. To the prednis... Good way to  describe it, which is suicidal empathy. Yes. The   fundamental weakness... of Western civilization is  empathy. The empathy exploit. They're exploiting   a bug in Western civilization. I've seen some  pieces say that it's gained a lot of traction   most recently in the last few years, but  I would argue that that is the basis of   their movement. That is who they have always  been, even if they hit it to a certain degree.   From the past few decades, it was built upon that  foundation. The Guardian's Julia Carrie Wong would   publish, the right wing movement against empathy  seeks to dismantle and discredit one of the   essential tools for any society. Our capacity to  recognize and respond to suffering. We should see   the campaign against empathy by Trump supporters  for what it is, a flashing red light warning of   fascist intent. Right-wing Christian podcaster Ben  Garrett latched on as well. Do not commit the sin   of empathy, he would write.
