There's another pitch.
It's over.
It's over.
There
you go.
Live on Fox 6.
What's your name?
Troy.
Troy.
I mean, you're jumping up and down.
You're shouting one more.
What are you feeling right now?
I'm feeling aw-
So emotions.
So many emotions.
Who's going to say?
So many emotions like what?
What are you feeling?
I just feel like, man, we've gone
this far every year and we've gotten down.
This year is our year!
That's right.
Appreciate it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
All right.
They've got Pat Murphy's song going.
Let's see who else we can talk to.
on Fox 6 right now. What's your name?
My name's BC.
What are you feeling right now
after another Brewers win? It's all energy
right now. To be up 3-0 against the Dodgers
after what happened last season, we're just so
excited. We got one more game tomorrow.
We want to bring it back home. I was standing behind you
over here when Jake Bowers fouled
off that second-to-last pitch
in that at-bat, and you're pacing around
like, oh no, I don't know.
What do you make of his at-bat
to hit that home run and propel this team?
It's just how the Brewers team's done it.
I mean, they just swing after swing,
they get on base, they make it happen,
they get runs, and we went down, Abner had those two runs,
and we got a chance, we get more runs in, the Brewers just find a way.
And that's the way we've seen it all season,
and we'll continue to do it in the postseason.
The team that couldn't win a road playoff game
has now won two road playoff games in a row
with a chance to win one more to bring the World Series to Milwaukee.
Can you even wrap your head around
that as being a legitimate possibility?
It's pretty incredible as somebody
who wasn't born the last time that the Brewers were there.
So being from Wisconsin, we love the Brewers,
and we want them to bring the World Series here
and get a win for the Milwaukee Brewers and the state of Wisconsin.
Think they get it done tomorrow?
I sure do. Let's sweep them.
All right. Thank you. Appreciate it.
All right. Let's see who else we got.
A lot of energy. A lot of energy. A lot of energy.
Hey, sir. Hey, sir.
You were coming over to me.
You were giving us the Ric Flair.
You're live on Fox 6.
You're live on Fox 6.
Tim, right behind you.
What are you feeling right now?
Right, exciting, like in the words of Mr. Ric Flair.
So, a lot
of energy here.
You know how that's going to go.
We'll send it back to Ted Perry out in Los Angeles.
All right.
Hey, Sam, you're fishing in a barrel.
Brewer fan here, brewer fan here, brewer fan here.
I've got to find, in all this sea
of Dodger Blue, I've got to find Brewer Blue.
And I did.
Zach from Oklahoma, of all places.
Yes.
What makes you a Brewer fan?
My best friend's a Brewer fan, so I'm here supporting him.
How fun was this game?
What are your thoughts?
What are your emotions?
Well, if you let the Brewers get anybody on base,
they've been dangerous all year.
I think Roberts left Blake Snow in too long,
and the minute after that walk,
I said if they don't pull him,
the Brewers are going to come back and win the game,
and that's what happened.
Was it odd to see the Dodger fan, 55,000-plus, so quiet?
It was a little nerve-wracking.
All right.
Zach, thanks for the time.
Oklahoma represented on Brewer Nation.
All right, Zach, thanks very much.
We'll keep looking for more.
Zach's going that way.
Can't find many more right here, but Sam,
can I bring you back in here, Sam?
Hey, come on in.
What's your name?
Travis.
Hey, Travis.
Yeah, I recognize you.
How are you feeling?
I'm feeling ecstatic.
I can't even speak.
It's so amazing.
3-0 against the Dodgers.
Wildest dreams.
What's the moment from this game that you're going to hold on to?
Jake Bauer, that at-bat.
I mean, if there was an MVP for this series,
it would be Jake Bauer for all of his at-bats,
fighting through everything, getting those hits, making things happen.
Love it.
This team, which forever couldn't win a playoff game on the road,
has won two on the road in a row.
They're one win away from going to the World Series legitimately.
Can you wrap your head around that?
No, no.
I mean, you're facing the Dodgers.
Everyone counts you out.
everyone in the media except for the brewers
and the fans so it's amazing i'm wrapping my head
around it world series tickets
are being purchased tomorrow let me tell you baby can't wait love it
anything else you want to say go crew baby let's
go win it all right thanks travis appreciate it
uh yeah ted it's probably just a just
a bit easier here with so many brewers fans who have
a lot to say brewers
and for this guy behind me we got the towels going we got the woo the
woo chants going, and yeah.
Okay, let me do this interview first.
You're live on Fox 6.
You're live on Fox 6. What's your name? Steve.
Have you wrapped your head
around what just happened right there?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
What can you say about this brewer's performance?
This is unbelievable. I love this.
This is so unbelievable.
You think they're going to get it done tomorrow?
Oh, I think they will. I know they will.
Sounds good. Thank you very much.
Appreciate you.
So, yeah, Ted,
a lot more energy. Are you finding that by you now?
Hey, Sam, it's starting to be a fair fight
for me. I'm surrounded now by Brewer fans,
especially Mike and Chris, who live out here now,
but originally from Brookfield.
You kept your Brewer allegiances in a place that's known for
winning World Series. How tough has that been for you?
Oh, it's been a little bit tough. They've
been breaking our hearts for three times now, but 3-0 looks good.
Do you think your heart will stay
unbroken this time? I think it has a pretty good chance, yeah.
Looking like it with a 3-0
first game at Dodger Stadium getting a win.
It's huge. You're here with your dad watching your
favorite team go 3-0 on the world champs.
Can you put that into words? Can you try for me?
It's amazing. It's so much fun being able
to be here with my dad cheering for a team we've
loved for so long and has been not great
for a long part of my life and now finally
looks like we we have a chance this time
are you coming back tomorrow will they do it tomorrow
no have to do it on tv but yes they we're going
to do it tomorrow do you realize if they do it
they will be the first team in history to sweep
the team that swept them the year before no team
has ever done that in the history
of major league baseball it's payback payback it is thank you
gentlemen for talking to us good luck formerly
of brookfield now of southern california but
keeping their Brewer blue with them, hey anyone else want
to hop in here, tell me where you're
from? Okay, we're big. Hey, all right, let's get
that out of our system and let's
talk. Where you guys from? I'm
from Oregon, where La Crosse, Wisconsin, and you're
where you... I'm from Oregon. Oregon, okay. Oregon, Wisconsin, Oregon, the state
Oregon, Lebanon, Oregon, Oregon
the state, gotcha. Okay, you're a Wisconsin girl, you
were here to see your team, how you're
smiling, tell me what you're thinking. I
am just so excited to see them go this far
my grandma's a huge fan, so I'm kind
here for her, sending her pictures. It's been awesome.
We came from Phoenix, so we road-tripped
out here to come to the game.
It's just amazing to see them doing so well. Are you a Brewer fan
because of her? Sort of, sort of.
No shame in that game, trust me. Yeah, they're my second team,
and the Mariners weren't it this year, so I'm Brewer.
What was it like for you guys to be in
there rooting for the Brewers,
a small pocket of Brewer fans in that sea of Dodger blue? Oh,
I mean, it was a little scary.
She cheered for the first home run, and I was like,
a little bit, lower down a little bit.
No, I was out and proud.
I was proud.
You put the floor under the floor.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
All right, go enjoy.
Go call your grandmother.
Tell her we're rooting for her.
All right, Ben, Kim, Sam, I don't know who's taking it from me,
but that's the scene here.
I finally felt like I was around my people.
We had back-to-back Brewer fans come up to us,
and there aren't a lot of them out here, trust me.
I think there'll be more tomorrow.
By the way, if you have some crazy notion about getting on a flight,
there are plenty seats available.
I couldn't show you pictures before because the broadcast was going on,
but much of that upper deck was pretty Spartan.
Fans were not showing up.
When your team is down 0-2, you tend to go, I'm not sure I want to go.
0-3, I think it's going to be even less full tomorrow night.
I think you could get a cheap ticket tomorrow.
I think Dodgers fans are maybe bailing on this, Dean.
Or how about you're now thinking about World Series.
before, I was just like, oh, that would be nice.
But now, when the tickets go on sale
tomorrow, you're like, okay, no, I'm in.
Yeah. Guys, stay
with us here for a second. If you find more
Brewers fans, we want to talk to them. We want to
keep this energy going. But Tim Van Boren is here.
The highlights are coming up.
Our coverage continues right
here on Fox 6 News at 10. Do not
go anywhere.
Oh, stay with us.
