Dodgers Struggle in Playoffs: Can They Turn It Around?

The Dodgers are still in the playoffs. How about this, guys? The Dodgers are down 0-2. What? What? What? You're going to tell me that the Dodgers have looked good through two games against the Brewers? No, I'm not going to tell you that. What I'm going to tell you is I saw the Brewers do this exact same thing to the Padres. They score one more run than you. That's just what they do. And they won 105 games doing this. Their power is not expected. but Contreras has been electric and I hate him now because he's that good now but he's been electric when you run their best pitcher off the mound before they before you normally do that's a good sign for the other team but the Dodgers were able to do that to Misurashki in game one they just couldn't figure out how to win the game so I think that what you saw was Milwaukee do what they were supposed to do they won their two home games now I don't know what's going on with Ohtani well this is what i feel this is my opinion you shouldn't play him if he looks that bad you know who doesn't care he's hurt the brewers don't care the brewers don't care and the other team's fan base doesn't care all they see is him sucking right now so if i'm the dodgers i have to protect this asset from itself and you're not going to play until you can look like yourself because he looks dreadful right now and the break that they had between the end of the season and now is not what they didn't because they had atlanta he looked better in that series than he does now so he looks pathetic right now and i don't know if you could fix that in a couple of days or a day off and a massage you're talking to or home field advantage ain't going to fix what's wrong with him and so in my opinion they shouldn't play him because that by adding someone in who can help you everybody knows they've got to play better and what the Dodgers do do better than anybody else is they find a no-name guy who can find a way to help you get a win that's what they've specialized in the last two years to World Series championships finding someone on that roster top to bottom somewhere somehow to make a key play but he can't be the guy because he looks awful it's not just him uh Ohtani's one for eight Will Smith has been absolutely absolutely terrible in the playoffs even in the Braves series he was trash Freddie Freeman one for eight Kyle Tucker one for seven Mookie Betts two for nine one extra base hit through two games for the Dodgers this you know when i i remember when i said this about this series the Dodgers were awful in the first series against the Braves they just had a Braves team that was worse on offense that's just what it was yeah and the all the Brewers needed to do was get to Schoneveld and Yamamoto one inning or two innings just get to them for one or two innings and they would probably have the upper hand and what do they do they force Yamamoto have his shortest career a shortest uh postseason outing of his career they force scuba to exit after what five or six innings they push his limit up even though Scuba did pitch pretty well this offense is as bad as like all these worries that Dodger fans have had in August and September like what's going on with this team it is carried straight into the playoffs it's just that the Braves were as bad as them so the Dodgers edged them out now this Brewers team they put up seven in game two yeah they only put up two but their pitching has been phenomenal it has been so let me ask you let me ask you this question because everybody was cooking Dave Roberts but for who he brought in after he took him out what do you think about that there's there's some infatuation with Alex Vesia that this team has and also they should have left Roki Sasaki in there for three innings instead of bringing in uh Brock Stewart and all these like one one one Roki Sasaki was a starter and he was actually performing very well towards the end of the season and Dave Roberts he did great in his one inning he took him out and everything collapsed so Dave Roberts deserves some of the blame too i don't know Will Smith not challenging pitches when you have two of them for pitches that would have changed the complexion of the game really angers me Will Smith hasn't been hitting he isn't challenging for some you have the ability to do it now Dave Roberts is getting upset with his own players he already told Paw has not to do it and now Will Smith isn't doing it and listen I will say this before we end the show Jose De Paula has had more good at bats in his past three at bats than Shohei has had in three months yeah yeah I would put De Paula in over Shohei right now I don't care about 700 million
