I Went to the "Real" Italy, Before it was too Late

I traveled to the most underrated, under-traveled region in Italy: Calabria.

There is a reason we all love to travel to Italy, but the last few times I've been, it felt more like a spring break party, I wanted to experience the Italy I had always heard about, but I didn't know if it existed anymore.

I looked into it and there seemed to be one region that had all the things to love about Italy,: Small charming towns on the sea, culinary heritage, and a slow pace of life, all without the crowds.

I spent two weeks there to find out if tourists don't go for a reason, or if it was just somehow overlooked. Turns out it was pretty great. It made me feel alive, so I am sharing the story with you.
