How To Paint Abstract Flowers / Straw Blown Poppy Flowers with Acrylic Pour

In today's video, I am painting some abstract poppy flowers! I just love doing these and using a straw is a perfect way to create the flower shape. I am working on an oval canvas and did the background in a simple white and black with acrylics. I let that dry and then used some orange, red and black for the poppies. I used pipettes to pour the paint so that I had control over how much paint I was putting down. I let the flowers dry for a day and then added the stems and a few buds. These just pop against that background and I am loving how this one turned out!
