Austin weather: Scattered storms on Wednesday

The region is currently experiencing unseasonably hot and humid weather, with temperatures reaching the upper 90s. While the current conditions feel oppressive and summery, a cold front is expected to arrive by Thursday night, bringing much-needed rainfall and a significant drop in temperature and humidity to return the area to typical fall weather.
