Commanders' Clock Chaos Ends Giants Showdown in a Tie

The other teams in the division, let's go to the Giants and the Washington Commanders and how that game ended in a tie. Through your eyes, the mechanics of what happened in the last 20 seconds, how did that happen? Because what we're hearing is there was no communication. There was no set play. Everyone was trying to do something else, that there was a code word the Commanders were using that no one understood. What the hell happened? you want to talk about reasons for people to have thoughts and aspirations that it's all rigged look at what we look at that game they go they're and i just had to watch because i wasn't watching that that game so i went and watched watch back this morning to fully contextualize what happened none of it makes sense for all like a lack of in-game awareness from the head coaches from the from the quarterback for anybody on that offense like they're just letting the clock run down and run down to a point and then Jayden Daniels like no perspective awareness of throw the ball out of bounds nothing run around constantly it just pretend like outside of them thinking as an entire unit we have a timeout that you do not have which for the life of me why would you think you had that what because in regulation you got three and you got two the referee says it at the beginning of overtime you only got two so you can't stand on that what the hell is going on because nothing that happened and transpired transpired in that last 45 seconds made any sense the lack of urgency the play design daniel's not throwing the damn ball out of the freaking uh out of bounds to stop the clock none of it or just saying hey we're gonna get the field goal unit on the freaking because they were close enough oh yeah all they had to do was pull the field goal unit and not run the damn play run the field goal unit out there you had enough time left on the clock where you just run it down, kick the field goal and boom, you're gone. You want to talk about somebody that needs to be fired like Dan Quinn. Bye. Bye-bye. Somebody's got to eat the L for that because you want to talk about stuff that draws conspiracy thoughts. There is no way to defend what happened at the end of that game. Nothing. And I think Dan Quinn, who stood at the 25 yard line for a good 30 seconds after the game was over and just blankly looked onto the field i think he agrees with you i think he looked like it wouldn't even happen in a high school game yeah i think he knew this is so insane that if this happened at a high school game this would be one of those things like it takes over regions like media for like a day or two where it's like holy crap this is how this vaunted like 5a title high school game finished and everybody from a national media perspective would be like oh my god yeah that's absolute idiocy what happened there but this is on a national stage in the NFL and the players coming off the field. You could see the frustration level from the offensive lineman because they did not know what to do. They did not know what Jaden Daniels was doing. Yeah. And so that, that was a, that was a moment in which I'm watching it. And so I have all four games on, on the, you know, three of the games had started and they were still showing it because it was an overtime on one of the, one of the quad boxes and I'm watching it. And I just, I shifted the sound back onto it for the, for the last couple of minutes of overtime and i'm watching the clock tick down i'm like what are the commanders doing if they have no timeouts like i'm like does jayden daniels know that they have no timeouts they snap the ball with nine seconds left okay does jayden daniels know they don't have any timeouts oh my god he doesn't realize that they don't have any timeouts that he cannot run the football throw it away throw it away and he just runs around and it was i i again i don't know what he was thinking but the lack of awareness there was unbelievable but like but then to your point he didn't get up so this is the other like second layer to all of this nobody could have thought that they possibly had another time out because when they pop back up after running that play daniels the coaching staff none of them are signaling to call a timeout so if you thought you had an extra timeout that would have been the move right as soon as i pop up i'm doing this and the referees are like you ain't got it buddy or the coach is doing it right but nobody was even doing that so it's like they knew okay so you didn't assume you had a timeout so then what the hell were you doing yeah what was the what was the game plan if you didn't have a timeout what were you doing and man i got a feel for anybody and i'm not saying there were a lot of people but if you use the commanders or the giants in survivor that's a loss that's a loss okay and there is no in my opinion there is no worse way to go out in survivor that when no one wins in both teams knock you out because it's a tie so that that's just one of those games where you're like i cannot believe that actually happened and i think there's going to be stuff to pay for it at some point at the end of it.
