First Formula 1 race in Africa since 1993 to launch in Rwanda from ‘early 2030s’
Oct 13, 2026
Today, I'm very happy
to formally announce
that Rwanda has been working
very hard toward hosting
the Africa Grand Prix
in the early 2030s.
Maybe today will
be a confirmation
of what to expect.
I'll wait for the concerned
officials to make
that clear.
It is an honour and privilege for Rwanda to be chosen
as a destination in the Formula One calendar.
