Charging electric vehicles could soon get more expensive in Arlington County

Arlington County is considering a significant price increase for its county-owned EV charging stations. The proposed rate would jump from approximately 17 cents to 30 cents per kilowatt hour—a 72% increase—to cover rising electricity and capital costs. While the new rates would align with neighboring counties, the board will finalize the decision this coming weekend.
