AI GeneratedTwo crows living in Ramapuram are saddened by the hostility of humans who throw stones at them. After one crow is lured by a woman only to be insulted and chased away, the pair reflects on the nature of human behavior and the karmic possibility that their harsh voices are a result of hurtful words spoken in a previous life.
Jai Srimannarayana. Once there was a beautiful pond
in a village named Ramapuram. On a beautiful
tree, there lived two crows.
They were talking to each other with their own language and were
spending lives happily.
But the thing which upset them was, whenever they talked, people were
throwing stones at them. They did not understand the reason.
Closer to the pond, there was a house
where Pankajam's family was living.
Her daughter-in-law's name was Vaidehi. Vaidehi came
out with her one-year-old baby.
The baby was crying bitterly. She saw the crows and called
one of the crows to divert the baby's attention
and to make him stop crying. The crow was very
happy. Till now nobody called the crows in that way.
The moment she called the crow, it flew
and landed there by crowing. But Vaidehi's purpose was not served.
The baby was crying much more
bitterly. Then Vaidehi threw a stone at the crow saying,
you stupid crow, get lost. Then the crow
felt insulted. What is this? She only called me.
Now she is insulting me, she thought. It flew back
to her husband crow and narrated everything happened.
It is true. That is the nature of
the people in this world we are the ones wake them up in the morning
but on hearing our voice
they throw stones at us but don't worry we
are not like human beings we love one another husband
crow consoled his wife anyway we are cursed ones
for having such a horrible voice which irritates
everyone we can't change our voice now
but what about human beings they always shout at one
another. If they want,
they can talk softly and can sing so melodiously. Perhaps we were such
human beings must have hurt the feelings of others
with our harsh words in our previous birth. That
might be the reason we were born as crows now.
When does this man realize this fact? Husband crow
said to himself. When he was lost in his thoughts,
wife crow called him in her own language. Then he
came back to this real world. That is the power of the world.
Thank you. Jai Sriman Narayan.
