CLEAR FOCUS WITHOUT CLEAR VISION | Why It’s More Important To Believe Than It Is To Know
What if you don't need to know exactly how everything will work out to start moving toward the future you want? Sometimes, the biggest obstacle to progress isn't a lack of information. It's the belief that you need all the answers before you can take action.
In this powerful message, Myron Golden explores why belief can be more important than having complete knowledge or a clear picture of the future. He explains how faith, focus, and conviction can help you move forward even when you don't know every step of the journey.
The core idea is simple but powerful: You don't have to see the entire path to move in the right direction. You need to believe in what's possible and stay focused on where you're going.
You’ll learn:
Why belief can be more important than having all the answers
How to maintain focus when your future isn't completely clear
Why waiting for certainty can keep you from making progress
How your beliefs influence the decisions you make
Why faith allows you to move forward through uncertainty
How to stay committed to a goal before you see the results
Why clarity of purpose matters even when the details are unknown
Biblical principles behind faith, vision, conviction, and perseverance
This message will challenge you to rethink your need for certainty and help you understand how belief and focused action can move you toward goals that may not yet be fully visible.
Well, hopefully you've been enjoying these Wednesday Q&As.
It looks like you have based on the number of views we've been getting.
And today we have another great Q&A session for you.
Let us know in the comments what your thoughts are.
See you then.
Ruben.
Yeah.
Oh, she did.
Okay, cool.
Perfect, perfect.
Ruben, talk to me, brother.
Yes, Myron.
I see you speaking at the church,
and also I see you speaking at the event,
like a business event in the world.
What I notice is that when you're in the world,
it's more like I'm just here to do business, to give value.
But when I see you speaking at the church, it's more like I'm home.
It's like a family.
Is that a universal principle
or that just something that's along with your purpose?
Can you elaborate on that?
I don't understand what you said, what the difference was.
The difference is I see when you're at a business,
it's a different mindset.
It's like, okay, I'm here.
I'm doing business.
I'm focused.
but when you're at the church
it's just like you're having fun
like you know
the people
it's just like you're at home
you know
well I'm having fun
in business too now
I don't want y'all to think
business ain't fun
well
I would say
the difference is
well first of all
first and foremost
I love teaching
stuff that I've learned
about things
that I care about
and I really care
about business
and I really care
about the Bible
but I love teaching
the Bible more
than I love teaching anything
and maybe that's why
and I don't
I don't have as many opportunities to speak
in church as I do to speak in conferences,
so maybe it's just a lot of pent-up energy
and excitement popping out.
You know what I'm saying?
So I think that may be all that you're witnessing
because it is different.
Like, it's, yeah, it is different.
Teaching at a conference,
even though I teach biblical principles when I'm teaching business,
business speaking to church folk like like people other people
who read the bible that's that's a
vibe for me so i think that might
be what you're noticing potentially thank you yeah you're welcome
good morning myron good morning tina yes
so i first met you at a conference really yes it was
two years ago that's one of the things
that made me decide to move here and you said wow
i met this dude at a conference
and he was talking i said you know what i need to move
to Tampa okay it's true well not you
but right right no I get it yeah you liked what you learned
yes and you decided I need to be closer to that yes
that makes sense yes yeah and you asked the
audience you said who in here has never heard of me
and almost everyone in the audience raised
their hand and you were like whoa you were shocked
but my question I was actually
pretending to be shocked I wasn't shocked
but anyway go ahead I and but it's so so funny the
woman that was with me she knew you
and she literally guys don't laugh she ran after him
she's like there he is and you were going to the elevator
and she's like come on come on i didn't
and we got in the elevator with you
and you're like i don't know where your people were there
but she just jumped in the elevator
so i went with her and then she said can you pray over
our businesses and you prayed over our businesses
and wow this is a whole experience the big hotel
the one by the water downtown oh oh marriott
water okay water street oh it's probably off
from Mastery Live. Yes, it was huge.
But anyway, my question is, when you first started your
business, did you vision your life would be the way it is now?
Did you manifest? Did you do vision
boards? And if not, how did you stay focused?
Well, no, I didn't manifest. I didn't vision board.
I didn't see it turning into what it is.
Do you say those things are a waste of time?
I don't, I don't, when I say they're a waste of time,
they're, I don't know that they're,
they might be a waste of time for one person
and not a waste of time for another person.
So people who pretend to know universal answers
are almost always lying, okay?
So I'm not going to pretend to know universal answers.
Just because something worked for me
doesn't mean it's going to work for you.
And just because something works for you
doesn't mean it's going to work for me.
We're different people
with totally different experiences of life.
So no, I didn't envision this.
I envisioned something.
I did not have the ability to vision this.
I had no way of even comprehending way back when, when I first got
started, that my life as it is now was a possibility for anyone.
But I followed the light that I had,
and the light that I had revealed more light.
And I stayed on the path.
And how did I, the last part
of your question was how did I stay focused?
How did you stay focused?
I say that because this weekend I went to an amazing conference.
It was a three-day conference.
It was over a thousand, Ashley Kirkwood.
it was called black women sell live over a thousand women
and the people the speakers so
i'm just i'm i'm jumped up right now
and then i'm sure i'll be jumped up in a couple of weeks but
not as you know excited as i am today
so how did you stay focused on yeah i i think i think um
having objectives to focus
on where the input is measurable
and the outcome is expectable
is how i stayed focused
and so i focused on an input that created an output so for instance
you may some of you may remember
that relatively recently within the last year i think it was
maybe the last year and a half i did
a video called how to get rich with a hundred dollar
offer i don't know if you remember
that or not but anyway how to get rich with a hundred dollar
offer some of you um my first offer well
my very first offer was menu style my second offer was
$147. But with a $147
offer, I did
$5,900 in sales
in like 45 minutes. Wait, what
just happened? Now, that may not feel
like a big deal to you. That felt like a very
big deal to me. This was in
2001.
And then
probably the next time I made an offer,
it was probably $197.
And then it eventually got to $497.
And so, for years,
no exaggeration,
I would do one or two events a month
where I'd make a $497 offer,
and I would make $10,000 to $20,000 in a weekend.
And how did I stay focused?
Well, the most I've ever made at a job is $30,000 a year.
So, like, having a simple, measurable input
that could produce
a relatively predictable output makes it easy to focus.
Okay, so leading up to those measurable things.
So maybe it's because you're a man as well.
I don't know.
That probably has everything to do with it.
Well, no, no, no, no.
I'm being goofy.
I say that because sometimes I get a little distracted.
You know, it's like I'll start one thing.
Everybody gets distracted.
Men get distracted.
So how did you stay focused just thinking about the money?
No, the money is just the money.
I don't care about the money.
You'll lie about that.
You'll lie about other stuff.
Like, I do care about the money.
I just don't care the most about the money.
How did I stay focused?
Did you have a calendar?
Did you write things down?
Did you have someone saying, do this, do that?
No, no, no, and no. None of those.
I didn't do any of those. How did I stay focused?
You prayed.
Well, I definitely prayed, and I studied the Word.
But when I found something that worked,
I worked it. And I know that sounds like an oversimplification,
and I don't mean it to
sound like one. But when I find something that works, I work it.
Can I give you an example?
Okay. So y'all are not the only ones with mentors, right?
And you know how coaches and
mentors, they like to sell you stuff?
Well, my coaches and mentors like to sell me stuff,
too right and so so i just got back from vegas
which i hate i hate las vegas i don't i mean i
have friends there but i don't like the city
of it looks like yeah like i i call it lost vegas
okay anyway so anyway i'm
not a fan i like here's hey did you go see any sites there's no sites
there I want to see well there there is now I learned
while I was there and I didn't know this
that they have helicopter tours to the Grand Canyon
if I had known that I would have done
that instead of playing golf happily take
a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon and land
in the Grand Canyon that that would be fun okay
but next time I'm in Vegas now I know to do that
okay anyway I digress I digress
so um Russell Brunson had Funnel Hacking Live so it's going
to be different than every other funnel hacking
live he said what I'm going to do is I'm going
to do it in the fountain blue and they've got this big amphitheater
and I'm going to sell couches on
the main floor um that'll seat five people
and I'm going to sell the couches for 25,000 to my
inner circle so they called me hey Myron we're selling couches
at FHL for 25,000 when is it I
don't even like I don't even know that I have time
to go to FHL right it's it's it's like um I don't
know that I have time to do this and I don't know like
and I don't know that I want to pay 25,000
for a couch and I don't know that and I like sitting in the back
when I go to conferences
So there were a whole lot of things about
this thing that I didn't care about.
But Russell's my friend, and he's my, you know,
I've been in his inner circle for 11 years
And so, you know, and so I'm looked up to in that community
So I'm like, I don't want to be a bad example.
And so, okay, I'll buy one of your couches, right?
But one of my, so this is how I focus
I focus on principles.
So one of my principles is turn every expense into a profit center.
Okay, so now I've got to fly to Las Vegas
which I don't really want to go to Las Vegas
but I'm going anyway and so to go to Las Vegas
and back non-stop and yeah so now I need a heavy
jet, well heavy jets twelve thousand five hundred dollars an hour
which it's not that big of a deal
but it's like it's twelve it's four hours there
that's 50 grand there it's four hours back that's
50 grand back, plus like FAT, federal excise tax, blah, blah, blah.
So there's a whole lot going into this.
This is like a $120,000 trip just for the plane, then $25,000 for it.
And I don't believe in expensive and cheap.
I believe those are constructs.
There's no such thing as expensive.
There's no such thing as cheap.
Everything just costs what it costs.
And I know some of you are like even people watching
this right now are going to disagree with what I just said.
Well, that's easy for you to say because you have money.
Okay, that's one way of looking at it.
But maybe I have money because that's how I look at it.
That's another way of looking at it.
And maybe you could persuade me to believe what you believe,
but I don't know that that would help either one of us.
But if I get you to believe what I believe,
it ain't going to hurt me and it'll probably help you.
So it's hashtag just saying.
And so I said, okay, what am I going to do?
So what I did was I made an offer to people, to four people.
Hey, I made an offer probably to six or seven people.
Four people said yes, here's the offer.
you pay me $25,000 you get to fly to Las Vegas
with me on my jet we'll mastermind in the sky
with other high-level entrepreneurs and then I'm gonna
and then I had another client of mine said
hey let's do an event so we did an event where we sold tickets
to that event and so so you can come
to my event and you can go to Funnel Hacking Live
and you can be a VIP and sit on the main floor
with me and my other VIPs so $25,000
so I sold four of those seats so now this expense this
145,000 expense now has brought
in a hundred thousand dollars yay right okay then um we sold
tickets to the event so we sold like 76,000 worth
of tickets to the event okay boom so now we're in
like and we had to pay 30,000 for the venue
and probably 12,000 for the meals so it came out to
whatever that is um 40 let's call it another 45,000 okay
so now we're at 190,000 but we brought
in 100 plus 76 then i made an offer
at the event did another 550,000 in sales so now i'm in profit
right so how do i stay focused i stay focused
by applying principles that like that have measurable
inputs that give me relatively predictable
outputs now did i know i was going to sell
$70,000 worth of tickets?
No. But I knew I was going to sell some tickets. Did I know I was
going to sell $550,000 worth of coaching?
No. But I knew, and when I say knew, I believed,
right? I didn't know. I don't know any of this.
I just made it up. Oh, we're going to sell tickets.
Oh, people are going to pay me $25,000.
I just, I made all that up. And when I say I made it up,
I don't mean conjured it up.
I mean, I just decided to do it and believed that it would work
until it proved me right or wrong, and it proved me right.
And so I stay focused because I apply
principles that have measurable inputs
for relatively predictable outputs and so I'm it's
always I'm going to put an easy it's like how
do you stay focused when you're baking a cake you
read the recipe and then you just put the stuff
in and then you follow the instructions and it
out pops a cake it's like life works like
that inputs create outputs if you don't like the
outputs change the inputs that's what
so is that helpful great answer okay I saw Trudy's hand over
here we're going to come to this side
and then dr siobhan will come back to this side we'll just
move it around what's up dr trudy how you doing sister fantastic now
this is actually a bible
question my son raised it the jehovah witnesses cornered him
and they're apparently believe that
jesus is michael the angel michael
and so they gave him these passages and i don't have a um
floor so it says in um daniel 10
so this is gabriel's coming he's talking about the 12 days
and and it ends with but i tell you what days
are 21 days 21 days 21 days i tell you what is
inscribed in the book of truth there is none
who contend by my side except these except michael
your prince and then the next one was in daniel 12
and it says at that time shall arise Michael
the great prince who has charge of your people
and it talks about the book of life so i was like
i don't understand where how do they get Michael to be Jesus
or Jesus to be Michael and then it's
they're using this reference
and i'm Michael the prince the same way all cults create doctrine
right well i know i'm just saying cults
are the result of believing in isolated doctrine
there are no isolated doctrines in scripture
so what do i tell my son because i don't have a
direction so here's what you tell your son yeah you tell
your son that a guy wanted to start
reading the bible one day and he had this i'll just plop it open
and read what's there okay plop
it open boom oh Judas went
and hanged himself now that can't be what god wants me to do plops it
open again go down do likewise boy
this is not working out right okay plops it open again what
thou doest do quickly take it out of context all
of that's out of context okay so you because that
says that until, so that does not prove that Michael is Jesus
or Jesus is Michael. That just
talks about Michael being a prince.
Well, Jacob was a prince. His name is Israel, which means
prince with God. Does that make Jacob Israel?
I mean, does that make Israel Jesus? What they're
doing is they are literally jumping to a conclusion,
which is the only exercise most people
get. And so show me where in the Bible that says
that means that Michael is Jesus. That's what I
would say. Show me where. There are no isolated doctrines.
If this doctrine is not supported by
every other doctrine in scripture, I've misinterpreted it.
There were two different
references. But those two different references
are not saying anything about Jesus being Michael.
They're saying, Michael, you're prince.
Okay, so Michael's the prince of something. Maybe he was
the prince of the archangels.
I don't know what the answer to those verses are, but I know what
they aren't. Because there's no place in scripture
that says Jesus is Michael, or Michael is Jesus.
There's no place that says either one of those things.
And so taking a verse, and because it
says Michael is your prince, that means he's Jesus.
That's, that's insanity. Joanne, can you
see what the temperature's on in here?
I'm cooking, and I haven't even gotten started yet. So, Dr.
Siobhan? Good morning. Are you laughing near me or at me?
That's the question. With you, with you.
okay okay um how do you know if you
are doing something in your strength or you're doing
something if i'm doing in my strength i get tired
if i'm doing in his strength i don't okay so then
anyway but that may not have been what you
were asking me i was just being my usual
no it is um and you're you're understanding
fatigue as in burnout versus like i'm tired
but i'm not burnout okay okay i guess it might i've experienced worn out
and worn out sometimes
life will wear you out sometimes work will wear you out i've
been worn out but i ain't never been
okay so so maybe your question
or your answer is so simple to my question that i'm like
there has to be more like how do you know
if you're doing something in your strength versus
something in his strength like you get an idea
and you want to run with this idea well is that
your own idea is that an idea given by him do we run
because is it a good idea it's a good idea
okay every good gift and every perfect gift is from above
and cometh down from the Father of
lights with whom there is no variableness nor shadow
of turning so if you have a good idea
even if it's your idea it came
from him you don't you wouldn't even have the ability to have a good
idea were it not for him okay so the thing that has come
is is not my own capability i've i have realized that it may
It may be.
Like, even if it is your own capability, it still came from him.
Like, your ability to see came from him.
Your ability to think came from him.
Can everybody think?
No, everybody can't think.
Some people are mentally impaired.
Oh, in that sense.
Right.
So some people are mentally impaired.
So everybody can't think.
Can everybody think clearly?
No.
No.
I don't know another way to ask this.
Is everybody who can think smart?
No.
Definitely not.
So all of that is a gift.
Yes, it's a gift that you have, but you have it for a reason.
because a man's gift makes room for
him and brings him before the great men.
Which gift?
All of them.
So, for instance, I flew to Vegas,
played golf last Thursday.
I think it was last Thursday.
I don't remember.
What's today?
Was it last week?
Was it last Thursday?
Okay.
See, I don't even know what day it is.
Last Thursday I played golf.
And then Friday I spoke three times.
Saturday I spoke three times.
No, I spoke four times.
I spoke three times at my conference.
And then Saturday night service at the church.
Then spoke twice on Sunday morning.
and then went to Funnel Hacking Live
and spoke once at Funnel Hacking Live on Tuesday
and then flew back.
Now, on the way back, Dan Henry says to me,
because Dan was one of the people
who bought a ticket on my jet,
he says, dude, I don't know how you do it, man.
I got back to Tampa and I was wiped out.
He said, I swear, you have Red Bull for blood.
I don't have Red Bull for blood.
But when I'm doing the thing I was created to do,
it doesn't make me tired.
It energizes me, I don't know if that's helpful or not,
It is.
Thank you.
Pastor Tom.
Good morning, sir.
Good morning, my brother.
Oh, and thank you for doing this.
Your example is inspirational to all of us.
And thanks for the generosity with your time.
My question is, in almost anything we go to to hear someone like you
or some kind of event speaking to someone who has mastery,
we almost always are trying to get as close to the front as possible.
I found it curious that you said you like to sit in the back.
My question is, since we try to get on the stage if we could,
and you want to see why.
Okay, a couple reasons.
One, and the first reason is going to be hard for you all to believe.
I'm an introvert.
I don't want any attention.
It's not my event.
So when I go to an event, I don't want any attention.
And so to avoid attracting attention, I like to sit in the back.
Also, I'm 65, does that have to do with anything?
I got to go to the bathroom a lot.
I don't want to come to somebody's event and be a disruption.
And that way I can move about.
And I went to a company.
So there's this guy
who has this seminar that he does around the country
where he sells a Facebook ads training.
And so I went to it when he came to Tampa.
It was painful
for me.
I stayed for part of the first session and I left.
I didn't even wait for a break.
I'm done.
It's a wrap for me.
Well, one, he was cussing.
Like, I'm not going to pay you to cuss me out.
I paid you $200 for this event.
You can keep the money, but I'm leaving.
You can have no more of my attention.
And he was kind of pounding his chest, which I get it.
You're impressed with yourself, and you want me
to be impressed with you, but I'm not.
So I'm leaving.
And so I was able to leave without creating a thing.
Yeah, all of that.
So I like sitting in the back.
I used to like to sit in the front when I was Myron the Owl.
The Owl.
Myron who?
Who?
I am no longer
Myron the Owl
so I like to sit in the back
people tend to recognize me
and so
I don't want any
I don't want any fanfare
I don't want any attention
it makes me feel
relatively awkward
and so I just
would prefer
that's why I like
sitting in the back
appreciate that
thank you
my pleasure
talk to me Cameron
happy Monday
happy Monday
happy Monday
thank God for safe travel
like all the things
hallelujah
yeah praise his name
And my question is, it's about YouTube and it's about YouTube growth.
You mentioned in my sister's question and your answer to it
that you find what works and you continue to do what works.
So right now in this season,
what are you finding that's working with YouTube?
Because, you know, everybody has an opinion
and a thought, but they're not doing the thing.
You are doing the thing.
What are you finding that's working?
I think the same thing that works with YouTube works with everything.
you iterate and then you evaluate and then you iterate again
and then you evaluate and then you
iterate again and and and and you don't iterate
for the purpose of getting views see people people
want the out people want the outcome
so desperately that they forget that inputs create output
right and inputs create outcomes
and so if they put in an input once and they don't get the outcome
they desired they stop putting in the input okay
that's what you think is going to work for you
more power to you so have any
of you ever worked construction anybody here ever worked construction
okay a couple of us okay a couple of us okay has anybody
in here ever done body work on semis
like like doing body work where you're grinding fiberglass
and you're getting fiberglass shards
in your cheeks and when you shave you got big scars on your face
and and you're using and you're
in a sweatshop literally sweating like crazy
in the summertime working these trucks have you ever
change the transmission or change transmissions
or engines or rebuild engines and cars all this
stuff is so hard like i've done
so many hard things in my life that i have something to compare
making videos creating content writing books
and doing seminars with nothing i do now is hard
compared to all the hard stuff i had to do all
my life like it's a cakewalk creating a video every
week creating two videos a week cakewalk like it's
like there's there's no there's zero difficulty
in that at all so so i'm sorry look
at a little attitude everybody thinks everything's hard
because they've never done anything hard i spent
my life doing hard stuff i literally spent the
first almost 40 years of my life doing everything
hard now everything's easy and it's even easier
with ai and people oh but i get it you gotta learn ai
that's why AI can teach you how to use AI stop
it okay so so my point is i decided
in 2024 i'm going to post
a youtube video every week
for the next 10 years and i'm going to see if i can get good
and i'm so much better than i was
when i started and i'm not good yet according
to my standard better tomorrow than i was today
because i'm doing a youtube video today
and so what works on youtube is what has always worked
and what will always work.
The power of compounding consistency.
See, most people want the power of compounding intensity
or the power of compounding creativity,
but they don't want the power of compounding consistency.
Nothing compounds better than consistency.
And so, consistently focusing on getting better.
Better at what?
That's a good question, right?
When it comes to YouTube.
Yes.
Better at your hooks.
So what's a hook?
What's a hook on YouTube?
Does anybody know?
What's a hook?
Like first 30 seconds.
Okay.
What's that?
What stops the scroll the first 30 seconds?
Anybody have any other answers?
What draws you in?
The thumbnail too.
Would that be considered?
I'm going to tell you what the hook is from my perspective.
And I made this up.
So you're not going to find this in some YouTube book somewhere.
I'm telling you this is something I've learned
from doing this consistently over the last four years.
the hook which by the way is the part of your video
that gets you more views than any other part
Okay, is the thumbnail image, the thumbnail title, the video title
and the first 30 seconds of the
video matters more than all the rest of it now
the video has to be good in order to have watch time
but if you don't have the right thumbnail thumbnail image
when i say thumbnail i mean
thumbnail image and thumbnail title it all tells a story
and it all creates intrigue and it all
creates wait what and then you're the right video title
and the right you don't say the right thing
in the first 30 seconds they're gonna bounce
if you don't have the right thumbnail they're not
gonna click the thumb if you don't have the right thumbnail
and video title they're not gonna click
you don't have the right first 30 seconds they're
not gonna if they don't watch your if they don't
click your video they're not gonna watch it
if they don't watch it for 30 seconds they're not
gonna watch it for a minute
and they're certainly not gonna watch it for 20 minutes so i found out
something that shocked me in doing analytics on my videos
which is shocking to me it may not be
shocking to you, but maybe you're smarter than me.
And that is, I found out that when you're
doing long form videos, longer long form videos have a longer,
have a higher watch time percentage
than shorter long form videos.
So if I have an hour long video, it'll have a higher watch time
percentage than an eight minute long form video, which is mind blowing.
In fact, they won't watch
the eight minute video for eight minutes,
but they might watch the one hour video for 40 minutes
On average, which means some people are watching the whole thing.
Some people are watching them twice.
I know because they tell me in the comments.
And so there's that.
And then when you get into the actual meat
of the content that you're teaching
after the first 30 seconds, you need to teach uncommon lessons
from commonplace things.
If you can do that, people will watch you.
They won't stop watching.
They'll be blown away.
They'll be like, oh, my goodness.
If you can teach them something they didn't know based on something
they know about but in order to do that here's what you have
to do you have to be interested
and you have to think wouldn't hurt to read a lot
so it's fascinating i'm like i know a fair
amount of stuff i mean i know a decent amount
of stuff about a decent amount of things but i don't
feel like i know enough but there are people
who know way less than me who feel like they know
plenty like i listen to about on like almost every day
of my life i listen to about 11 chapters of
the Bible, and I've read the Bible so many,
like I listen, and I get more out of it listening to
it than I do reading it because that's just
the way my brain works. I'm more of an auditory
learner than I'm a visual learner.
So I listen to 11 chapters of the Bible every day. There's
never a day of my life that goes by where I'm
not listening to an audio book or reading a book. I'm
sure in the book that I'm reading right now,
I listened to 100 pages yesterday. Why? Because
there's way too much stuff I don't know.
And then the more stuff you put in here, the more different
ideas I have to ideate with
so that I can learn more things. So hopefully that was helpful.
Yes. Dwayne, talk to me, brother.
Morning, Myron. Good morning. Welcome home.
Thank you. Glad to be home.
Hallelujah. First, I just want to make
a comment
about something that you have taught us
and that is disruption.
Disruption always follows
intention. Well, it's in the Bible.
I found that out as I was
writing my book. Well.
A lot of disruption, but
to God be the glory we've persevered with
the help of the Lord and finished the manuscript.
Just got my author's proof version.
Okay.
And out of that,
I have three more products now being produced.
Okay.
From the manuscript.
Perfect.
The question follows up to where do we stand on the audio book?
You can go sign up for it right now.
I'm on.
OwnedAudio.com.
Owned, O-W-N-E-D, audio.com.
It's an audio book platform that we've created where you can put
your books as an audio book.
By the way, millions of authors,
millions of authors are about to lose their relationship with Audible.
Congratulations to them.
They're going to be able to get off the plantation.
Because when you sell your audio book on Audible,
they take 60% and give you 40% of net.
Now they're going to increase it to 50%,
but it's going to be based on pooled listening,
which means how much of somebody else's audio book somebody listens
to is going to determine
how much money you make.
So it's smoke and mirrors.
There's a book.
If you want to understand what's going on,
like if you want to understand the Audible
platform and what the numbers really mean,
there's a book called How to Lie with Statistics,
and that's exactly what they do.
So with our platform, you pay $99 a month.
You can have up to 10 titles on it for $99 a month,
and you get 100% of your customer data, which
is way more important than the money, and you get 100% of your money.
OwnedAudio.com.
OwnedAudio.com.
Thank you.
Ruben, what's up, brother?
Yeah, Myron.
Simplify AI for beginners.
Okay.
And can you share again the seven levels of AI?
Okay, simplify AI for beginners.
Okay.
Well, I think if I share the seven levels, that will simplify.
So I think the first thing that we have to understand about AI,
it stands for artificial intelligence,
but it's not really intelligence.
It's just an algorithm that has the ability to predict the next word.
That's what it's based off of.
It's not intelligence.
It's what is intelligence.
It's human intelligence, programming a machine
to seem intelligent is what it is.
it's it's something that is useful as a tool it could
be useful as a tool it could be destructive
as a weapon it's it's it is what it is so seven levels
of AI the lowest level of AI the foundational
level is the anticipation level that's what it's based
on it guesses the next word or predicts the
next word that's how AI works just kind
of like auto-correcting your phone it's just a more
advanced version instead of just predicting
the next letter it can predict the next word or maybe
even the next sentence.
And then when it predicts that sentence,
it predicts the next one.
So that's the anticipation level.
The next level, which is the lowest level, which
is how most people, like the majority of people who use AI,
use it, it is asking and answering questions.
So you ask AI questions, and you answer them.
Or you let it ask you questions, and you answer them.
That's a really basic, low level.
It's not going to be, like if you're using AI on that level,
it's not going to make any money,
unless you ask it a question about making money,
and it gives you an answer that actually works.
Then it could make you money.
And then, or make your life better in some other way.
And the next level is automations.
And so on the automation level,
you're telling it to do a series of tasks.
It may already know what the series
is if you've already pre-programmed it.
And you say, hey, do this thing.
Go send an email to my list, inviting them to an event.
If you've already trained it on how to invite it,
and you give it the date,
then it can just go do that whole sequence for you.
So that's automation.
So you're actually telling it to do steps to accomplish a task,
and that's the automation level.
So that's the third level.
The next level is the agentic level,
and the agentic level is where you are giving it an objective.
And when you give it an objective, it actually knows what task to do
to carry out the objective.
So that's the agentic level.
You can give it an objective, it fulfills the objective.
Whereas automation, you give it a task, and it fulfills the task.
You're telling it what task to do, okay?
On agentic level, you give it the objective,
and it figures out what task to do.
The next level is the level where it
is assembling assets for you.
And so you can actually tell AI to build you an asset.
But if you're going to tell AI to build you
an asset, you better have trained it.
Otherwise, it's going to build you some junk.
it's going to build you some average basic like
not at all valuable junk right but if you train
it and what does train it mean it means that you program
your particular ai that you're using with
your frameworks and your formulas
and the principles that you know and your ideas and
your beliefs and your personality like you can literally train it
on all of that okay so that is
um the agentic level and um the next level is the arena
of agents level where you've got more than
one agent um and um there's there's some debate
which is viable i think as to whether you really
need more than one agent
or do you just need one agent with the right um architectural structure
of like you just give it put all of the instructions
for the different things in different folders and
at the end of each folder you tell it
which folder to go to next and if you do that you can do it
with one agent so in an arena of agents um and the highest
level is um the autonomous level which is
you have your own large language model running on your own machine
and it does uh your it does
all of that for you
and protects you from the legacy models stealing all of your data um so
that's so i have my own machine like here's what here's what i'm going
to say start where you can
start like learn there build from there
and if you do it right you can be on you can like literally
build up to any level of ai usage
or capitalization that you'd like so hopefully that was helpful
yeah what number six when you say agents what
do you mean by agent system or people
oh agents are agents are they're not they're agents
are neither systems nor people agents are
um how can i describe an agent it's it's
an ai system a system that you it's it's an ai i'm
going to call it an ai avatar in your machine
an ai avatar that you've trained that you can
delegate stuff to that's what i mean an agent
not delegate an outcome to not just the task
that's what i mean by an agent
so it knows how to do it knows how to do a series of tasks but it's
not a person a series of tasks that produce
an outcome that you desire without you having to
tell it each step so you're welcome two more
no more okay that's okay you got you got one you go
okay well you got a long question go ahead
and ask it i don't know if i have time and if i don't
have time to answer it today i'll answer it Monday
um it's a bible question i like bible questions
yeah i like bible answers even better well we'll
see hopefully you have one um i've studied
something for quite a long time
and there's there's a portion of hebrews that says without
the blood there's no sacrifice there's no redemption of sins right
however i see that
there's a significant amount of scriptures
in the hebrew scriptures that on the surface at least
contradict that so there's people being forgiven
in Nineveh with no blood for remission there's
David being forgiven after his sin with no
with no blood um in Leviticus where a lot of the
offerings which there's multiple different offerings where
those are discussed uh someone
who's too poor to bring an animal can bring flour
and there's atonement made for that so my question
would be where do we get that idea and how solid is it
when you actually compare it to the Hebrew
scriptures yeah well i i think i think this is like off
the top of the dome so i haven't studied
it because i've never had that anybody asked
that question before and i've never thought of that
before um there's there's a there are there
are different levels of forgiveness there's like
forgiveness for eternal life is not the same
as god forgiving me for confessing my sins
so i did something wrong i punched somebody
in the face i didn't punch anybody in the face i
don't know why that's the first thing that came to my mind.
So, okay. Thank you. Thank you for
that, bro. I appreciate you letting me off the hook.
Much love. Okay. So, but, but, and I shouldn't
have punched him in the face. So, so I asked God to forgive me.
No blood needs to be shed for that
because like David sinned, David sinned
and God forgave him for the sin. When it, when it talks
about without the shedding of blood,
there's no remission of sin, it seems to me, and again,
I've never studied it like the way you're asking the question,
there's a difference between being
forgiven for the purpose of having eternal life than it
is not being forgiven for the purpose
of staying in right standing with God.
So one is positional forgiveness.
The other one is relational forgiveness.
And so, but when you said the thing about the flower,
I'm not sure.
I'm going to have to think about that and study it.
I truly appreciate that, honestly.
Yeah.
Oh, 100%.
I did see Cameron's hand.
I'm going to make that the last one.
Ms. Anita, I know you got one, but I got you covered.
Okay.
Cameron, talk to me.
Right behind you.
Happy Thursday.
Happy Thursday.
Happy Thursday.
My question is about beginner YouTube mistakes,
and I know that you have, and she said, oh, yes.
I know you've analyzed a lot of other people's channel.
What are, like, the top two, three mistakes you keep seeing over
and over and over, like, why a video is not performing?
No thumbnail is number one.
A terrible thumbnail is number two.
number three is you waste
the first 30 seconds welcoming people to your channel
and telling them your name nobody cares
