'You're Fired! Get The Hell Out Of Here!' Trump Targets Letitia James At New York Rally | APT

U.S. President Donald Trump launched a fresh attack on New York Attorney General Letitia James during a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, on Friday, October 9. Addressing the crowd, Trump declared, “You're fired. Get the hell out of here,” as he targeted James and criticised political leadership at both the city and state levels, describing them as “corrupt” and “incompetent.”

Trump also argued that New York was losing its tax base as residents considered leaving the state. Claiming that New York had changed dramatically over the past decade, he told supporters, “This is not the state that I remember ten years ago.” His remarks added to his broader criticism of Democratic leadership in New York as he campaigned for Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman and other GOP candidates ahead of the November midterm elections.

The Syracuse rally featured Trump's attacks on New York's leadership alongside his calls for tougher immigration enforcement, a crackdown on sanctuary policies and expanded oil and gas development to lower energy costs. The president's comments about James and the state's future formed part of his wider pitch to voters to back Republicans in the upcoming elections.
