This is what breaking the sound barrier actually feels like from inside an F-16.

During my flight with the United States Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base, F-16 pilot “Hash” accelerated us through the sound barrier, reaching over 1,300 MPH high above the Mojave Desert.

As the afterburner lit, the Viper surged through Mach 1 and into the supersonic regime—an experience reserved for only a tiny fraction of people.

This is the raw cockpit footage from inside the F-16 Viper.
