Northeast Georgia faces rare high-level flash flood risk

Heavy rainfall and flash flood risks are forecasted for northeast Georgia, with some areas expecting at least two inches of rain. Meteorologists are particularly concerned about rugged terrains and valleys, which may act as pools for water, increasing the risk of flooding near lakes and tributaries. A rare level three flash flood risk has been issued for Saturday.
