AC Struggling? This Simple Check Saves You Money

Hey, guys, as you can see behind me, the weather is not that good right now. I've been a little bit under the weather myself. This video I'm about to show you see me kind of walking because I'm walking. My buddy, Riley, this video is like a 15 second diagnosis. No tools needed, maybe a flashlight. Stay tuned. Hey, guys, we just showed up at a mobile home and it's a nice little short mobile home. And we were told that the air conditioning is not working. That feels really cold. Let's go in. I had to go get a key. Let's go in and just check things out. OK, it is set on 75. It's 77 in here. Let's look for obvious problems before we go check in pressures. Lovely from up here, it doesn't look so bad, does it? It is a three ton R14 coil. Let's let's just go check outside and make sure we don't have something bigger than a three ton. And that happens to be a very common problem. This is a 14 system. Let me take a picture of this nameplate. And I'll share it with you. Cooling capacity, 17,000. This is a one and a half ton. Let me make sure I got that right. Model MAH19410 Comfort Star. Cooling capacity, 17,500 BTUs. That's a one and a half ton. So basically, yeah, when I see a coil that dirty, it's pulling clean. There's no need to even gauge up. Please, something that clogged up. If it runs long enough, it's going to freeze up. So pulling clean at the very least. Offer a new coil, see where it goes. Catch y'all in the next one.
