Codiac Regional RCMP delay body camera rollout

The rollout of body-worn cameras for RCMP officers in the Codiac Regional district has been delayed despite the opening of their new Albert Street station. While the national rollout began in late 2024, Codiac remains the last location in New Brunswick without the technology. The delay is due to administrative and provincial vetting requirements, with implementation now expected in early 2025.
