Hurricane watch issued ahead of Isaias

Tropical Storm Isaías is intensifying in the southwestern Gulf and is expected to become the season's first hurricane. Currently moving east-northeast, the system is steered by a trough to the west and a ridge to the east, directing it toward the northern Gulf Coast, specifically the border region of Mississippi and Alabama.
