Preparations underway for 2026 Dumfries Mayor’s Ball and Community Awards Gala

Mayor Derek Wood is hosting the fourth annual Mayor's Ball and Community Award Ceremony in Dumfries. The event aims to honor everyday residents—including teachers, police officers, and non-profit leaders—by recognizing their contributions while they are still active in the community, rather than waiting for retirement or passing.
