Secretary of War @PeteHegseth walked out to personally welcome home the sailors of the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group following their extended deployment.

acknowledged that he personally signed the orders twice extending their deployment, saying the mission required it and
@POTUS
had “full faith that you would deliver on behalf of the American people.”

“And you did.”

Hegseth praised what he called a historic mission: 10,000 sorties, 23,000 combat flight hours, nearly 4,000 combat sorties and 1.5 million pounds of ordnance dropped, all without an aircraft mishap.
