Tropical storm could develop in the Gulf

Meteorologists are monitoring a developing weather system in the Gulf of Mexico that could become Tropical Storm Isaias. While the system is currently disorganized and faces hostile upper-level winds and dry air, it poses a significant flooding risk for the northeastern Gulf Coast, particularly the Florida Panhandle.
