Trump Promotes $5,000 Checks, Urges Midterm Turnout and Raises Mail-In Voting Concerns

President Donald Trump is rallying voters ahead of the midterm elections, urging them to turn out while raising concerns about mail-in voting and saying voting by mail is preferable to not voting. Trump also said that if Republicans maintain control of Congress, he would deliver $5,000 checks to American adults using revenue from tariffs. Meanwhile, the FBI has arrested a California realtor accused of acting as an unregistered agent for the Chinese Communist Party and surveilling the family of Taiwan’s president while on U.S. soil.
