The Castellows - 501s (unreleased), Loblolly Acres, Delaware.

So 501s ... what does that mean? Like Ellie says in the introduction it references denim, like Levis 501 denim blue jeans. It is in the chorus:

"I'll be your denim baby, from Americana silver screen,
Going 8-track crazy, be whatever you want me to be,
My heads in the clouds, flying too close to the sun,
All I've got is a dream and a prayer and a pair of 501s"

The verses are about a relationship and simple things in life. I haven't figured it all out. The chorus is being nostalgic and I think the reference to denim is about being reliable and lasting .. you know like blue jeans :)
