Are these Kokoweef stalactites the rarest minerals I have ever cut? I am putting these unique geological specimens to the test.
I am sorting through a collection of layered geological specimens to see what lies inside. These rocks feature incredible banded patterns and crystalline structures that make the lapidary process fascinating. It is always a gamble when you start cutting, but the natural beauty of these finds makes the effort worth it.
After sectioning the material, I focus on rock polishing to bring out the final finish. Seeing the polished results helps me appreciate the diversity of these mineral finds and understand the quality of the raw material. Each piece offers a different look, and I am excited to see how they turn out once the surface is smooth.
