BEAUTIFUL and EASY Crochet Lace - Iris Stitch - How to Crochet

The Iris Stitch crochet pattern is one of those easy crochet stitches that every crocheter should have in their library.

The Iris Stitch is a classic double crochet shell stitch pattern. It's constructed by working double crochet and chain stitches into the spaces of the shells below. The pattern creates a beautiful lace that can be worked in almost any weight of yarn. I've seen the pattern used in a variety of crochet patterns including lacy shawls and bulky blankets.

This crochet pattern is written using American crochet terms.
