A:lwa:r Thirunagari #49Divyadesam@Statue of Equality

Alwar Thirunagari is a sacred Divya Desam and the birthplace of Nammalvar. As part of the Nava Tirupathies, it is believed to relieve planetary afflictions, specifically those related to Guru (Jupiter). The site emphasizes spiritual equality, as Nammalvar, born into a Sudra family, is revered as the \"heart\" of the Alwars and a representative of the Lord's feet.
