Electric company data center plans

Florida utility companies, including Tampa Electric and Duke Energy, have submitted plans to the state to manage the integration of large-scale data centers. Following a new law, these plans ensure that the high electricity and infrastructure demands of data centers are funded by the companies themselves rather than being passed on to existing residential customers.
