Farmer's Dog Kept Bringing Home Strange Black Rocks... Scientists Cut One Open
A Kansas farmer named Dale Henderson notices that his German Shepherd, Max, keeps returning from the woods with strange, unusually heavy black rocks. After discovering that the mysterious stones are strongly magnetic, Dale takes them to a university geology department for testing.
Professor Daniel Chen examines the samples and makes a discovery Dale never expected. The rocks contain iron and nickel, show signs of intense heating, and eventually reveal that they did not form on Earth.
But when researchers begin surveying Dale's farm, they uncover something much larger beneath the soil—and Max isn't finished finding strange stones yet.
