SpaceX just Broke Record with Triple Falcon Launches in 13 Hours! Game Over for Rivals…
SpaceX just pulled off something remarkable: three Falcon launches in just 13 hours. From a record-breaking Crew Dragon mission to a 130-payload rideshare launch and a classified Falcon Heavy mission, October 1 showed just how mature SpaceX’s launch infrastructure has become.
The first mission, Crew-13, sent four astronauts to the ISS and set a new U.S. launch-to-docking record, reaching the station just 7 hours and 55 minutes after liftoff. Then came Transporter-18 with 130 payloads, followed by NROL-97 on Falcon Heavy, marking another major milestone for SpaceX’s heavy-lift launch operations.
But the bigger story behind these triple Falcon launches is cadence. Reusable boosters, multiple launch sites, and increasingly mature ground systems are allowing SpaceX to operate Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy at a pace that was once difficult to imagine. And this could provide a glimpse of what SpaceX eventually wants Starship to achieve.
SpaceX just Broke Record with Triple Falcon Launches in 13 Hours! Game Over for Rivals…
In this video, we will answer:
How did SpaceX complete three Falcon launches in 13 hours?
How did Crew-13 set a new Dragon docking record?
What made Transporter-18 and Falcon Heavy NROL-97 significant?
What does this launch cadence mean for Starship?
What happens next for NASA and Boeing’s Starliner?
We’ll also examine Starliner’s path back to crewed operations, including the upcoming uncrewed test flight, the fixes for its propulsion problems, the planned Starliner-2 mission in 2028, and why NASA still wants two independent U.S. crew transportation systems.
If three Falcon launches in 13 hours is already possible, the next question is how far SpaceX can push launch cadence when Starship reaches operational maturity.
