La Gradiva (2026) | Official Trailer | Tandem
Youth, desire, and ancient history collide beneath the shadow of Mount Vesuvius in La Gradiva (2026), the feature directorial debut of French filmmaker Marine Atlan.
The film follows a group of French high school students on a class trip to Naples and Pompeii, where the ruins of an ancient civilization become the backdrop for a volatile coming-of-age journey. As graduation approaches, friendships fracture, insecurities surface, and buried desires erupt with increasing intensity. Starring Colas Quignard, Suzanne Gerin, Mitia Capellier-Audat, and Antonia Buresi, La Gradiva transforms a school trip into a hypnotic exploration of youth, anger, attraction, and the feeling of standing on the edge of adulthood.
