What’s Really Happening To Wild Tapirs? 👀

Our Animal Manager-Head Keeper, James Cork reminisces about the time he went out to Brazil to join forces with our long-standing conservation partner Lowland Tapir Conservation Initiative. 🤝

During his time, he saw firsthand the threats causing the demise of the amazing lowland tapir in the wild. James went on to learn more about the incredible work of the Lowland Tapir Conservation Initiative, and assist where he could to help save these animals in the wild and collecting as much data as possible to protect their generations in the future!
