Hey, welcome everybody to a special episode of America Uncanceled on CPAC Now. I'm in my holiday
attire, as so many of you are. I hope you had a great Fourth of July Independence Day, which is
fast becoming one of the most important holidays for our family, and I hope for yours as well.
Let's remember our history. Let's teach our kids our history, the good parts and the bad parts.
Let's show them the people in these statues and in these paintings, and let's talk about
the good things they did, and also remember the lessons of the bad things they did.
And that's all part of this great country that we get the chance to live in. It's the greatest
birthright, right, is the chance to live in the freest and greatest and most prosperous country
in the history of free people. But the problem is, I'm worried. I'm worried that it's slipping.
You're all worried that it's slipping. One of the things that is slipping about the country
is just basic knowledge of why it's so great. Our own Colton Furlow, who, I don't know why he went
to the Supreme Court with all those crazy people in the aftermath of the Roe v. Wade decision,
but I think many of you saw that really creepy video he did with one of these, I would say,
pro-abortion people. Probably a woman, not sure. Jury's out. We don't really know what that was.
But he took to the streets with Aaron to ask basic questions on American trivia. I'm hoping
that it makes us all feel confident that people understand and love their country. I'm worried
that that's not universally true. So watch what we uncovered.
Aaron, I'll be back. I've got to go change real quick.
Oh my gosh, I'm sorry. I thought this was non-binary.
Probably the greatest video that I can tell you.
Colton Furlow here, right outside of the Washington Monument, right here in our
nation's capital in Washington, D.C. It's Fourth of July weekend, so we're going to
go around to see if people know anything about American history and do a little citizenship quiz
to see if Americans can get these answers correct. And also, Aaron, I got you a surprise.
I got you more ears. Well, at least it's not as bad as last time.
Put your ears on. Put them on. Yeah, there you go. There you go.
Does anyone know why we celebrate July 4th? He must be a liberal.
Does anyone know when we declared independence from Great Britain?
1776. Film him because he's filming us.
All right, since you're filming me, I'm going to ask you a question. Ready?
How many states are there? That's easy. It's 50.
Is D.C. a state? It's not a state.
Wow, smarty pants. What was the first United States capital?
Dover. Dover, Delaware?
Dover, Delaware. No, that was the first state, Delaware.
I'm still smarter than most people. Great kid, don't get cocky.
Who was the first president? It wasn't George Washington.
It was somebody else. I learned when I was in seventh grade. I forgot who it was.
You need to go tell your seventh grade teacher that she or he needs to work on
their history because it's George Washington. I can tell you that.
I think you're right. How are you guys doing today?
Do you know? Yes.
It's behind you. I won't.
You won't? He just moved away from me. It's because of Trump.
Do you know who the first president of the United States was?
So do you know who the first president of the United States was?
I'm waving back. Do you know who the first president of the United States was?
No, it's George Washington.
What year did we declare independence from England?
A trick question. I thought it was like a year or two before
because the Declaration of Independence was signed after.
So 89 is, I think, the actual declaration. Oh, okay.
It's a pretty simple answer. 1776.
When was that letter to King George? Was that 1776?
So then when was the declaration?
Does anyone know when Independence Day is? July 4th.
Monday. When did we declare independence?
In 1766. No, 73, I think.
76. 76.
Oh gosh. I'm never wrong.
Then you must be a liberal. I am.
How did I know? She thinks she's never wrong when she was just wrong.
Typical. Colton.
What? Ice cream truck.
That's disgusting. You know how many bugs and like asbestos is in that thing?
No. I can tell you I can
eat ice cream as best as I can. I'll leave.
Hey, when's Independence Day? July 4th.
When did we declare independence? These people are too smart.
You know, I thought DC was a lot dumber than what they actually are.
But the problem is all these people are tourists.
So they're not actually from DC. That's why their IQ is a little better.
Wait, wait, wait, stop. I can't run.
I'll rip my pants. Don't.
How old do you have to be to vote? 18.
See, you got this. What year did we declare independence?
Oh boy. 1776.
Okay. Who was the first president? George Washington.
And which president do you miss right now?
Um, well, I think if I were to pick one, I do.
I did like Trump, but if I was going to pick any president, it would be Kennedy.
Kennedy? The Democrat?
But he had bad policy. Did he?
So you pick nice over policy? Please say no.
Redeem yourself right here. I'm not going to answer that one.
But you do miss Trump. That's all I needed.
That's all I needed. Do you miss Trump?
That's a division between the family again.
You think Joe Biden's attractive?
Trump is orange. I don't like orange.
Could be white, could be yellow, could be brown, could be, you know,
whatever color, but orange, I don't like it. Thank you.
What about the wrinkles on Joe? What about all the wrinkles that Joe has?
He has experience. Experience in what?
Because when you age it, when you get to age it,
when you get old, you will get wrinkles and then you will have experience.
But what? You don't want to have wrinkles?
What good experience does he have? It doesn't matter, I don't care.
He has experience. Every line is like a story.
It's a very bad racist story for him.
You say that because you are young.
No, I say that because...
Look, you have two wrinkles here.
Those are dimples.
You see, you have it.
Yeah, I do see it actually.
What are my stories?
When did America declare independence?
Yeah, me too.
Ma'am, if you can answer three questions correctly,
I'm going to get my camera guy, Aaron, an ice cream cone right here.
What are the three branches of government?
Congressional. No, I'm sorry, I don't know. I should know.
I think I'm black.
Please, lady, please get it. I really want an ice cream cone.
Aaron really wants his ice cream.
Judicial, legislative, and...
So it's an E.
What's the next letter?
X.
Executive.
What year did we declare independence?
1776.
All right, she's got that one.
Last question. Aaron, for the chance for Aaron to get an ice cream cone,
what are the first 10 amendments called grouped together?
Bill of Rights.
Aaron, you get ice cream.
Who's your favorite president?
Obama.
Why?
Because he's American.
What did... Well, everyone who's a president is American.
What do you think about the economy right now?
I think that it's ---- and that the Supreme Court is ruthless.
Why?
Because women can't have abortions now.
Where was it in the Constitution that women could?
It's not. I gotta go. Sorry.
You're right. It's not.
Hey, Donald.
You're looking at my crotch right now. I don't like this.
Let me feel it.
Oh, that's a violation. Violate.
I've just been violated.
Did you have fun? I had fun.
And we at CPAC hope you had an amazing, blessed Independence Day weekend.
And always remember that the United States of America is the greatest country on earth,
despite the poor leadership that we have.
But there's hope.
Get out and vote this coming November and make America red again.
Probably, yes.
