PM Robert Fico: Only Two Sexes. It’s in the Constitution.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico discusses his government’s push to recognize only male and female sex in Slovakia’s constitution and its broader approach to family, education, and national sovereignty.

Speaking at CPAC, Fico discusses marriage, adoption, schools, illegal immigration, and Slovakia’s relationship with the European Union. He also raises concerns about foreign-funded NGOs and media organizations and discusses his outreach to Elon Musk regarding USAID funding and foreign influence.

Slovakia’s parliament later approved the constitutional amendment in September 2025. The changes also addressed adoption, parental consent for sex education, surrogacy, and Slovakia’s authority over certain matters of national identity.
