♻️ Instead of throwing walnut shells away, I turned them into a beautiful resin Christmas tree necklace! You can make this unique Christmas jewelry at home for yourself, as a handmade gift for friends, or even as a creative handmade product.
🎄 For this resin jewelry project, I used:
• Walnut shell
• Epoxy resin
• White paste pigment
• Green glitter
• Red glitter
• Gold glitter
• Silver glitter
• Star-shaped glitter ⭐
• Green tinsel glitter
Before using the walnut shell, make sure to sand the inside and the edges carefully so there are no sharp parts. Clean and wash the shell thoroughly because walnut shells can contain natural oils. After washing, let the shell dry completely in sunlight before using it.
First, I prepared the epoxy resin and mixed it with a small amount of white paste pigment. I poured the white resin into the walnut shell up to the desired level and allowed it to cure for about 24 hours.
Then I created the second layer. I used green glitter to create the shape of a Christmas tree, then decorated it with red, gold, silver, star-shaped, and round glitter to give the necklace a beautiful festive Christmas look. 🎄✨
