I’ve arrived in Lombok, Indonesia 🇮🇩 and spent my first day exploring Kuta Lombok to see if this really could be the new Bali.

I started by taking the local ferry from Bali to Lombok before exploring some of the beautiful beaches around Kuta, trying local ikan bakar at a BBQ restaurant, and soaking up the much slower pace of life here.

I also headed to Pantai Belong Selanak, one of the popular surf spots in South Lombok, to attempt a surf lesson… and let’s just say it didn’t exactly go to plan 😂🏄‍♀️
