I’m continuing my largest and most ambitious wildlife still life yet : a 120 × 180 cm acrylic painting built entirely by hand, layer by layer.

In this episode, I return to the darker side of the painting and bring more of its characters and details to life. Watch as the scene slowly transforms from a rough foundation into the highly detailed, realistic world I envisioned from the beginning.

I’m a self-taught artist from the Netherlands, working exclusively in acrylics and drawing inspiration from the dramatic light, atmosphere and storytelling of the Old Masters.

This painting has already taken hundreds of hours and there is still more to come.
