Lisette Model (1901-1983) was an Austrian born American photographer. Lisette was primarily known for her street photography.

"The snap shooter's pictures have an apparent disorder and imerfection, which is exactly their appeal and their style," she once explained. Model also taught photographers - with some of her students being Diane Arbus and Larry Fink.
